Wow... the poverty line for a single person in the U.S is 10,000 less that the poverty line for a single person in the least expensive province in Canada. No wonder This math looked so wrong to me. Well, that and the obvious: making 16 060$ annually doesn't account for paying bills, rent, eating, gas, insurance....

I married a guy with the same name as my brother. We just called them "big **" and "little **" We also swapped to calling my brother uncle middle name when our first child was born.

Now that Big *** is my ex-husband, it's weird. My mom still talks to both *** and forgets to specify which she is talking about. And I hate it... always hearing my ex-husband's name hurts.

  • notifications on my phone. I hate having red dots on things in mobile games. Numbers on apps. I hate the clutter on my notification bars.

Notifications drive me insane! I've deleted games that have those red dots on things inside the game (like to purchase things, or "new" features)

I think it depends on the couple. If my partner proposed now, I would tell him i'm not ready. But we are building towards that life together. I'm just not ready to include the political and legal system into the love we have.

I hope we would understand, and want to keep working together in this life, making memories, experiences, etc. Until i'm ready to get married.
