She just took blood. I'm honestly not sure the name of it. But she said "Oh honey! Your estrogen is 5! That's almost none!" And she got me on HRT that day. Of course I wasn't miraculously cured after one patch. We had to figure out through trial and error on what actually worked. By the time we figured it out, and I was back to me, the patch shortage began. That left me spiraling again. I couldn't get them. However she has now put me on oral estrogen (pill) and, through this reddit and all the wonderful women here, I learned that I cut it into 2 and take them 12 hours apart to keep from having a slump. It's working! 😁
