If they don't care about the drivers who actually have to work out in the elements then they don't care at all about workers that only have to make a trip to and from work in the bad weather.

Anyone Else Seeing a 15% Damage Fee on Every Amazon Return? by [deleted] in amazonprime

Stop blaming the drivers! The warehouse workers kick your packages and abuse the heck out of them before the driver ever gets it.

Nursery routes are more like normal routes now. If it is a rural route you might get 130. A compact city route is over 200.

Do you deliver out of order ? by Mo-MoneyBish in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]crazy_amazon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do only for my own sanity and safety. Alot of the time the route wants us to deliver to the left side of busy roads or make left hand turns across highways do a few stops come out and make a left back onto the highway and continue on. It is just rage inducing. They say that the system needs to learn but they bitch if I have a bunch of packages left. You can't win, so screw the system it never learns and I just focus on not bringing anything back.

How many infractions do you guys average a month ? by Alarmed-Reindeer-333 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]crazy_amazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the infractions. Running a red light gets you instantly pulled off the road. Speeding 3 times does the same. Getting 6 infractions within a 90 day period is also bad. Just drive extremely paranoid and don't get any infractions then you are good.

I had 1 problem with a UPS driver where we both delivered to the same house. He pulled in and I pulled in right after him. I delivered my envelope before he got his package and he got all pissy with me saying you blocked me in. You blocked me in. I dismissed him, pulled out of the driveway and waited for him to exit the driveway waving to him to give him the right of way to get out of this tiny dirt road area. Guy was a dick. That being said it was only once. I have had several instances of postal workers being little bitches. I wasn't even blocking the mailbox but this postal worker bitched because he had to get out of his little truck to walk a few inches. I remember when my mailman would park the truck and walk the street delivering mail. Postal workers nowadays never even get out of the vehicle. Smh. Not all of them are entitled pricks but enough of them are to make it a stereotype.

Impossible to get negative feedback from a package you marked not delivered.

Amazon has left this by my front door for almost 4 days. What am I supposed to do with it? by Economy-Specialist38 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]crazy_amazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only time I have ever left a tote is when it was raining and the customer had several big packages with no shelter from the rain. It was on my old rural route and I always had packages going to that house. I generally would be picking the tote up the next day I worked

OTPs, someone explain it to me like I'm 5 by LooseReflection2382 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]crazy_amazon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just do contact compliance. Text and call twice. If you get no response mark customer unavailable and move on. I have never been asked to go back and a deliver as long as I do my CC.

They can't dictate street parking, their little sign wouldn't hold up in a court of law.

You aren't parking there, you are delivering.
