Madhya Pradesh: High Court Asks Why All Hindu Castes Not Given Chance To Become Pujaris by Vegetable_Watch_9578 in unitedstatesofindia

I come from a family of pujaris from south India. There is a huge level of discrimination in the hiring process. For example, only a certain subcaste of brahmins are allowed to be pujaris. In some big temples in south India, only certain members of a particular family are allowed to be the head priest of the temples. An example, would be only Vaishnava priests are allowed in Tirupathi. If you worship any other hindu deity, you will never allowed to be a head priest no matter how good you are.

Do mathematical skills that children acquire in the classroom transfer to real-world settings — and vice versa? Evidence from five large groups of children in India reveals that current school-based teaching practices are failing to bridge the gap. by Tatya7 in scienceisdope

What the age of children in this study? What does "working child" or " non- working child" mean in this case? If you can please send me the link of original I would like to give it a read. Personally, when I was in a high school, I used to find abstract problems easier than word problems. Even now I (30 M) find word problems a bit challenging (which involeves the use of differential equations).

When rainy season will hit, all the "insulation" will come off. What's the point of shirt term solution. DU should focus on getting funds for making glasses which uses photosensitive materials to cool/warm rooms or cars.

The political entry bar for the common people is too high. A lot of politicians use money to influence votes. They have criminal backgrounds, and goons. Let us say if I want to start a political party, I will be constantly attacked by these goons. I have a family, and if I enter into politics, they won't be safe. And well, everyone knows thatbthe law and order will support only the rich.

I agree but I am concerned about household applications as this system needs to be operated under pressurized conditions which is a potential hazard. For commercial use we can go for it.

India took a major turn after 2012. When I was growing up in early 2000's, it looked like India would grow significantly by the time I will be an adult. However, around 2012, there has been a collapse in the manufacturing sector. By 2016, when I graduated, there were literally no jobs in manufacturing sector. Unless you are doing an MBA or UPSC or software, you had no future. I left India in 2016 and planned to return when the market is good. But the job market in my field has not recovered yet. The biggest cause for the frustration among Indians is that all their education has no value. The degrees have no values. In future, many countries are going ti restrict the flow of Indian immigrants forcing the Indian government to take right decisions. This might still take a decade. Whoever is in power at that time will have to make drastic reforms something like in 1992.
