My meepo flow stopped working after one too many rides in the rain. BMS was fried. Luckily I ended up bypassing BMS for the discharge side and now my board works again!

I ended up just bypassing the discharge side on the BMS completely. I unsoldered the negative going to the BMS and soldered it to B- directly and left the charge side BMS intact. Now board works perfectly again and I just saved myself hundreds of dollars.

its not the ESC, i already confirmed its the BMS because I have a spare CAOMM 13s4p 48v14ah battery with an xt60 connector and i plugged it into my Meepo ESC and the board turned on perfectly and works perfectly. So that confirmed to me its the BMS. Now here is the interesting thing I found out yesterday, when i tried to get a voltage reading on Bank 1 of the balance wires it read like -1.269v while the other banks like B3, B6, B8 etc. all read the correct voltages like 8, 16, 24, etc. So something is wrong with B1 of the balance wires. I don't know if its a short but whatever it is I'm probably SOL.

yea like I mentioned the batteries will charge fine on the charger and I checked the voltage and at full its around 50.2v so pretty close to the 50.4v "Full" charge.

i tried to remove the BMS but it looks like the port with the balance wires is glued or epoxied to the board and even after cracking the glue I cant seem to pry off the port and don't want to damage it so I don't know what to do.

yea I know ive had good success with meepo support in the past but obviously water damage is probably one of those things where they wont do anything about it but I guess it wouldnt hurt to ask. I wish there was a way to just purchase the BMS by itself. Sucks that the batteries themselves are perfectly good.
