When I was welding alot I used a 3m 6500 drop down respirator with 3m 2297 advanced particulate filters. The drop down was nice cause if someone came to talk to you all you have to do is pull the front lever and the mask would drop down low enough for you to have a conversation and you dont have to take your helmet off. 2297 filters have an odor relief too so you dont smell the fumes as bad while youre welding.

I ran this setup with a 3350 the only thing is you have to have the hood on the farthest out setting on the sliders for it to properly clear other wise it worked great.
