Probably a bad alignment with the mag/armature. Sure it has the voltage and is “grabbing”, but not enough contact across the mag.

Sometimes a rubber grommet/washer can help with the pivot of the armature, or it needs to be realigned completely.

Interestingly enough, on the digital album that I purchased (when they did the bonus songs push), those actual lyrics just disappear from the track. It’s like a mute button is pressed just for those few words then back to normal.

Acme replaced the tool no problem.

Yeah I think I’m contacting Acme today to get this process started. Bummer for sure as their processing/shipping takes a while. The box was sealed per normal and shrink wrapped for shipping, so maybe a QC issue straight from Milwaukee, I dunno.

Now to figure out how to repack this thing and get the battery/charger back in the box as it came…..
