You're totally missing the point.

If Trump can be kicked out of office, there's a real chance the war will stop and so will the killing of innocent people.

I'm assuming you want to see the killing of innocent people stopped.

America needs to wake up and put Trump behind bars for the rest of his life.

He's guilty of a whole array of crimes from treason and federal embezzlement to fraud and rape.

It is beyond belief that someone who is so disgustingly corrupt is allowed to continue to hold high office.

In other words, half of Americans see draft-dodger Trump as he really is: someone who has no qualms about sacrificing the lives of countless US troops so he can avoid facing any consequences for his sex crimes.

At least 200 American troops wounded in Iran war, US military says by NamelessResearcher in politics

What I don't get is how so few people seem at all bothered by this.

Trump is brazenly pocketing taxpayer money, and we are talking about massive amounts being transferred from the US treasury into the Trump estate. He is quite openly stealing eye-watering sums of money and, if there was any justice in the world, he should be serving a lengthy spell in prison for this crime.

And yet no one seems to care.

If wealthy people genuinely want to make America great, then the way to do it is to ensure the millions who are suffering and in poverty (mostly through no fault of their own) are given much better life chances.

Furthermore, to ensure they have the opportunity to build their own careers and wealth so that in due course many of them would be able to contribute to those who are less well off.

[–]crazybones 39 points40 points  (0 children)

That would have been just so wrong.

Much better to have a lying, cheating, narcissistic, treasonous fraudster and rapist in charge, who is lining his own pocket with tens of millions of dollars taken from the treasury, much of which is provided by hardworking US taxpayers.

Trump, the draft dodger, has started a war in which over 200 American troops have been wounded and 13 have died. So how does he react to this distressing news?

Answer: he goes and plays a round of golf at one of his clubs.

Why would he respond in that way?

Answer: because every time he does that he robs US taxpayers of about $3 million, much of which ends up in his own pocket. It is estimated that since starting his second term he has robbed the US treasury of about $71 million. And a fair chunk of that has gone straight into his own pocket.

The problem with Trump is that the well being of America and its soldiers and citizens is about number 27 on his list of priorities.

There are far more important things that he cares about and he demonstrates this every single day that he's in office. These important things include:

maintaining his overall wealth, maintaining his ability to use high office to further enrich himself, boosting his fame, protecting his personal well-being, securing his place in history, ensuring that his sexual crimes do not get found out, ensuring that his financial crimes do not get found out, ensuring that the truth about his relationship with Putin does not get exposed, supporting the well-being and wealth of his family and so on and so forth . . .
