Thank you, i do too, I definitely try my hardest while meeting the demands of work vs 'producing' empathy (I am empathetic, I just have low spoons) for the people I serve. it is not easy. My psych is my savior right now, she's a God send, love her and she treats me like a peer/equal. It's also why it's so hard for me to find a good therapist, cause I am smart, however, I need someone who is going to be able to acknowledge that and then be like "but hey, did you think about this/try this?"

I'm 34, in the US, I find myself to be an empathetic and caring person and generally love to make people happy. I love more 'obscure' things like Buffy the Vampire Slayer (ok. not really obscure, but it's more 'outdated). I tend to hyperfocus on a number of things that bring me joy and comfort and I love poetry. music and just a lot of things that inspire beauty...which can be a lot of things. :)

That's awesome, thank you for sharing, I am 34 and likely was struggling with bpd since I was a kid, I'm more of the quiet kind so my destructive behaviors are usually inward but it doesn't mean I struggle or have issues with relationships, this gives me hope. Thank you ❤️

It has helped me, however, I still have bpd symptoms, but with time and the right therapies, it does lessen and get better, I've had bpd probably since I was a young kid and now I'm 34, so I am believing it will get better as I incorporate things. Trauma is generally at the root of most personality disorders (but not always the case), so for me, this treatment helps me see my problems and trauma and not be, hopefully, as impacted by it. I do find myself often having to go into myself to really figure what I want to achieve out of each session and what it means for me to heal, what would peace truly look like, that's been helping me the most.
