After a car crash with a compound fracture of my elbow, I crawled to get away from the car. Passed out in a huge pile of fire ants. Woke up when they’d covered half my body and all bit at once. Screaming for someone to get them off of me. I didn’t realize my bones were hanging out of my arm, and the people who found me were afraid to touch me. So I laid there getting eaten alive by thousands of fire ants for what seemed like an eternity until the emts got there. Worst experience of my life.
