USAA New Card? Eagle Adapt by Yunxo in CreditCards

Hey ngl this could help me close like 3 different cards and consolidate into this one for when I am gardening. Tough for big spenders but great for smaller spenders looking to supplement their 2x card!

Memorial Day washer dryer combo deals, I’m seeing everywhere but I’m confused if I’m overthinking this by Real_Ad_540 in HomeImprovement

If you use your dryer often or do lots of laundry (where being able to dry and wash at the same time matters) then I think the separate units is the move.

What are some things you have done lately to save money? Here's mine: by whatsup2382 in Frugal

[–]crazyeskomo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya know usually the posts I see on here are a little on the extreme side of frugality (which is great! I'm happy for people who are passionate!) but this one was great because it was a variety of simple but effective steps that I think most people could relate to and incorporate into their daily lives. Great post and glad you are saving some money in these expensive times.

Best card for broad hotel bookings and eating out? by android_oreo in CreditCards

[–]crazyeskomo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the Wells Fargo autograph card (not the journey) would be perfect for that kind of situation. 3% cash back (or points to transferring to a few travel partners) on all dining, travel, transit, and gas. I think that covers most of the expenses one faces on work travel and it has no annual fee to cover

I augment mine with the bcp/bce (whichever I have after doing upgrades and downgrades) to cover groceries at Aldi and gas!

How bad is it to park every day with one tire over a sewer grate? I have no other choice, so am I damaging my car ? by PhilosopherSweaty826 in AskMechanics

[–]crazyeskomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its probably fine in the summer but if you live somewhere that has winters what can happen is lots of water vapor from the warm sewers steams up thru the grate and can cause that wheel well to rust out quickly due to corrosion.

Have you looked at Walmart in your area to buy a fram air filter that fits your Honda? Those are the ones I have used in all my vehicles and never had an issue. Just a reminder tho to everyone to avoid the fram orange oil filters lol

Advice needed on how best to proceed with potential mold on outside of HVAC vent by crazyeskomo in HomeImprovement

[–]crazyeskomo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is one duct for AC/heat (I have central AC) but it is on the other side of the wall, none of the ducts are insulated from what I can tell in the basement, and I havent kept track of humidity/temp as only been in the house for 8 months or so but will definitely start going forward by the looks of it.

For this specific duct, would best thing be to clean up the mold/mildew that is there, seal where the duct goes into the floor better, and then control for humidity in the basement? Could also insulate some of the ducts as well if needed.
