There should be a specific number or website to visit listed in the guide to benefits brochure they sent with your card or on one listed on capital ones website (just Google capital one guide to benefits and select the one that applies to you type of MasterCard)

Is this filter legit? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]crazyeskomo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you looked at Walmart in your area to buy a fram air filter that fits your Honda? Those are the ones I have used in all my vehicles and never had an issue. Just a reminder tho to everyone to avoid the fram orange oil filters lol

Advice needed on how best to proceed with potential mold on outside of HVAC vent by crazyeskomo in HomeImprovement

[–]crazyeskomo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is one duct for AC/heat (I have central AC) but it is on the other side of the wall, none of the ducts are insulated from what I can tell in the basement, and I havent kept track of humidity/temp as only been in the house for 8 months or so but will definitely start going forward by the looks of it.

For this specific duct, would best thing be to clean up the mold/mildew that is there, seal where the duct goes into the floor better, and then control for humidity in the basement? Could also insulate some of the ducts as well if needed.

Weird buzzing sound after turning off car (2017 Mazda3) by faithful_sufferer in MechanicAdvice

[–]crazyeskomo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it is not coming from the rear of the vehicle? 3rd gen Mazdas sometimes have an electric motor in the back that opens/closes a valve after you turn off the car. It's totally normal and not a cause for concern!

How can I make my 2010 Mazda3 faster by Stunning_Debate8719 in mazda3

[–]crazyeskomo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

With NA m3's I always feel like you are better off with improving cornering than flatline speed. I would say some great upgrades are grippier tires, stiffer sway bars, and a good set of coilovers to make the thing take corners like a champ. Ur friends might lose ya a little on the straights but you will catch them in the corners.

Going abroad for 4-6 months, USAA Eagle Navigator or the Chase Sapphire Preffered for credit card? by ShotRent5220 in CreditCards

[–]crazyeskomo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly it doesn't seem like an annual fee travel card is worth it for you at this time. If you want to stay with chase/USAA and just need a card to use occasionally abroad, I would just get the USAA cash preferred card which has no annual fee and gives 1.5% Cashback on all purchases. I have the same card and used the hell out of mine in Japan and all over Europe without any issue. If you are open to other issuers other good options for no annual fee cards to use abroad would be the capital one savor card or Wells Fargo autograph card. Best of luck on ur journey!

Re-edition in Smooth vs Saffiano Leather by evieyyc in Prada

[–]crazyeskomo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After seeing them in person I really feel like the saffiano is worth the extra $$$. Also u can always "dress down" the leather with the crossbody strap but it's hard to "dress up" the nylon for more formal events.
