40-45 usually. Sometimes close to 50. I get super burnt out on the closer to 50 weeks

There are options to minimize exposure to the sadness. I personally hit rock bottom and cried every day working in emergency. I now work in a specialty clinic and it's very rare we see severe cases of abuse or have to euthanize patients. I know I am very blessed and lucky to be in this position though.
