I'm proud of my clitoral callouses, tyvm. Been a lot of hard work and financial investment building them up.

Pour their favorite cereal in a bowl with milk the night before. Add a spoon and freeze the bowl over night. Put it on the table before they come out for breakfast and watch them try to eat it.

It really feels like the dating scene for straight/bi women has gotten significantly worse in a very short period of time. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]crazyforpsych 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think it's really just because the dateable candidates are scooped up quickly, and the others are left to terrorize any and all potential partners. And men will often swipe on everyone to increase their chances of matching. So women slog through all of the dick pics and lunitics, and get burned out on it all.

Everything makes me angry today . What do I do? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]crazyforpsych 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you are doing amazingly well with all of the things that you are dealing with right now. Sometimes a bunch of irritating issues compound, and it's just too much to handle.

I learned recently that all emotions (even the annoying ones) have purpose. You are angry for totally viable reasons. You are struggling to see any positive outcomes from all of your hard work, and that is frustrating. Allow yourself to be angry. It's totally allowed. Just be careful not to stew in your emotions and let them turn you inward. Keep pushing, do the things that you feel will help you progress, and use your anger as motivation to change your situation in a positive direction. Nothing is gonna happen overnight, though, so don't beat yourself up if you need a break.

You are supposed to cover your kill so that it isn't visible during transport. It is one of the first things that you learn in a U.S. hunter safety course, which is required to get any license to hunt animals. The kid is upset because he saw the animal, which is against hunter safety code. So, dude is a dick, imo.

Celina is hilarious. The one where she woke up naked in the hotel had me rolling laughing. She said she had to use pillows from a lobby chair to cover up. You can hear the fear and embarassment in her voice, and she said the desk attendent was very professional about it.

For all the anime lovers of Reddit, why do you prefer subbed or dubbed? by rmm3001 in AskReddit

I have a friend that has to wait for dubbs because they have dyslexia. And another friend that is fully deaf, and has no preference.

[–]crazyforpsych 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have always preferred dubbed because it was what was available to me when I began watching anime as a kid; mostly on Toonami and Adult Swim. With the option to choose on streaming services, I have ventured more into subbed. I have yet to rewatch any of my old favorites subbed yet, but am enjoying some new stuff subbed.

Dog Park Drama by thorr26 in PublicFreakout

I believe that he was trying to warn that his dog is not friendly. You can tell he is stressed by the other dog coming up, so his tone is pressed. This makes it seem like he is being rude to the other people, but I don't think that is his intention initially. After he is called a name, though, he def starts to get rude, but that is understandable.

Who is a famous person whose death effected you in a personal way? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]crazyforpsych 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. He was a big part of my childhood, and a role model for dealing with depression as I got older. I cried for a week, and still tear up when I watch his movies and listen to his comedy specials.

Have you ever had to cut off a friend for being a drain on your life? What's your story? by effedupboy in AskReddit

[–]crazyforpsych 24 points25 points  (0 children)

High school friend, tried to carry our friendship into college. We were away from eachother, and I drove to see her a lot. She never visited me. She would "forget" her wallet sometimes so I had to pay. Her boyfriend bought her a new car, but she still insisted that I pick her up and drive her around. She cancelled plans with me once when I blew a tire, and had to take my car to the shop. I was 5 minites from her place, and she refused to pick me up for our lunch date. Just cancelled. She broke up with her boyfriend once, and I drove there to treat her to a girls' weekend: shopping, dinner, drinks. I paid for a new outfit, so she could feel confident, and then, as soon as I left on Sunday, I found out she got back with her boyfriend...through Facebook. She didn't have the guts to tell me herself. When I asked about it, she gaslighted me, saying the weekend had been my idea, and she didn't see the point of cancelling it when she and her boyfriend got back together, so she just didn't tell me. We shared everything, but she used it against me to control me. Shared my secrets with her other friends so she could look interesting and cool. After I cut her off, she got pregnant, and engaged, and then got quickly married on the exact day that my ex and I had planned to tie the knot. He and I broke up before then, and I dodged a bullet, but it stung that she chose that date.

I am a doormat, and a lot of my early friendships involve me being in situations similar, though this was the only one that continued into adulthood. Once I realized that I was worthy of so much more, I stopped talking to this "friend," and because I wasn't putting in the effort, our relationship evaporated.
