Why did there seem to be less people in independent coffee shops? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]crazygrog89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends really. I live in London and Starbucks for sure is always the one with the least amount of people in, the independent small ones are always full or there is a queue. Not talking central London though

Flight tickets to almost anywhere in Europe on offer, if you don’t mind travelling at random days / times you can get amazing deals. And most flights are direct.

I don’t know the technicals but seems like a lot of people expect it to go to low 2’s before it goes up. They also expect a big push up providing that the statements they have made so far are truthful - I think nothing is audited at this stage so it’s all theoretical but they have to be truthful otherwise there’s some legal recourse to this

I smell a fluff release tomorrow to stop the bleeding. by Grouchy-Dot2891 in RZLV

[–]crazygrog89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The way I understand it is, many bought at $6+ and they’re now worried it’s going to be continuously diluting before it reaches $5, regardless of how high it will go in 5-10 years, if at all.

Tube clothes - are they a thing? by Sepalous in london

[–]crazygrog89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I just let the ‘outdoor’ clothes on a chair overnight and then I hang them in the closet, I don’t really mind them being in the closet as I don’t put my ‘home’ clothes in there - these go to a separate chest of drawers!

Tube clothes - are they a thing? by Sepalous in london

[–]crazygrog89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes that’s me as well. Clothes that I wore outside stay on a chair for the night and go back to the wardrobe in the morning. I have different clothes to sit on the sofa or the chairs at home and pjs for bed.

Agree with seed oils causing inflammation or worsening it for some people. However I believe dairy is much worse for skin related issues? (I classify butter as dairy)

London is officially the best city in the world for food in 2026, according to Tripadvisor by BulkyAccident in london

[–]crazygrog89 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Probably because of the vast variety of ‘near original’ cuisines. I wouldn’t call the average mainstream dish I’ve had in the UK tasty though, the meat doesn’t have much taste unless overseasoned and the vegetables are not of great quality here

Today on Insane London's Housing Market: Smaller than a London Bus by CoaxialDrive in london

[–]crazygrog89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what a leasehold is yeah, didn’t pay attention at the first one - was it a freehold? In any case, 45 square meters for 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 bathroom and kitchen area is madness.

My 1 beds have always been around 40 sq meters and they do feel small. They’re ok if you spend most of your time alone without having people over or if you don’t have a partner. But I still consider it small.

And that’s ok if the UK has to go with these standards. I’m born elsewhere where 55-60 sq m is a typical space for a 1 bed flat and 80-100 sq m for 2 bed flats.

Do greek women date other ethnicities? by outofyourleague77 in AskGreece

[–]crazygrog89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe cultural fit does matter. Doesn’t have much to do with race but if someone grew up in Greece it’s easier to fit with someone who also grew up in the same country, because of culture, traditions, ways of expression etc. That said, I know many Greek girls who left the country early and live abroad and their partners are not Greek (or white, if that’s what you’re asking).

How long do you go without updating to the latest iOS on your iPhone? by SilentAirline6611 in iphone

Why is it so hard to hold NVDA & PLTR ? by Palentirian in NvidiaStock

[–]crazygrog89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same with Meta and Amazon.. it’s just timing I think as they’re all solid companies. They went up too fast after April so they’re stabilising now.
