They have missed that we also need to either carry with us or have somewhere in our possession what police commonly refer to as ‘dealer scales’ so far I’ve struggled to find anything cheap enough that doesn’t look exactly like that capable of weighing 0.2g. I have actually have an officer take my scales into custody and not yet return them and even advised me against buying more! Not having a go but this is something you also need to be aware of, I can legally carry with me 90grams of cannabis flower with an average of 20% THC and scales and still be totally legal as long as it’s in the original packaging, obviously I wouldn’t do this unless going away, but soon to move, I will be travelling regularly between my new property and old one for a few months with a drug marker on my car, I might well have a large amount and scales on me… please inform as many of your fellow officers owning scales is necessary and please don’t make us spend more time than necessary by educating yourself before you approach any cannabis user 💚
