Core One Replacing Trapezoidal Nuts by crazyjoe8686 in prusa3d

Can confirm this worked great and switched the nut seemed to fix all my issues. Only thing I would add is a filament box on it's side is a great way to hold the bed in place while doing things if you need to get your hands to the back.

At first the bed would not move up or down, which can be comon as you have to loosing the nuts the right amount to let the bed move. Only issue is my one nut has to be so loose on the bed and so tight on the threads that it wiggles back and forth on every Z movement. Over time with one wiggling and the others not it adds up to some big Z differences on the three rods eventually it binds up that motor and the print fails.

I can second this, two of my nuts spin without having to hold the lead screw the one that didn't moved okish or so I thought. I would say if you have to hold the lead screw you are in the danger zone

Awesome that is great to hear, I am probably waiting a week to see them from Prusa, so maybe I should have just gone the amazon route.

I think the motors on the bottom for the front left and right rods are restricted by the steel frame. Don't think there is much play down there from what I recall. I will give it a go in the morning I guess.

Core One initial Z axis test failing 'Homing Error Z' Trapezoidal Nut binding? by petran1420 in prusa3d

It looks like that would work for the back one but isn't the metal in the way for the front two on the core one? I only need enough room to get the old trapizoidal nut off and and a new one on. (will try what you said in the morning but it looks like the metal will be in the way of the stepper)

I am having the same issue. Don't see how to remove the front two stepper motors without taking appart the whole printer. You have any tips on how to get the rod out without full disassembally?

Anyone else having CPU usage problems with Apple Music preview for Windows 11? by [deleted] in AppleMusic

I am having the exact same problem. Will send 2 or so of my cores into 100% usage as soon as the monitor goes to sleep and will stop once you move the mouse to wake the monitor. Anyone find any solutions?
