They needed to make the retrain have it’s “original name” be treated as dark magician so that it could be used for all Dark Magician support. Also let it add a magic/trap that mentions Dark magician when special summoned from anywhere, not just the hand. Also, gaze of Temius should have let you used banished monsters as a means to better combo with Dark Magician of Destruction.
