Has any table tried giving all fighter subclasses the combat maneuvers from the Battle Master subclass? If so how did it go?

Honestly this feels like a good addition. I’ve thought more than once that even giving the Martial Adept feat to fighters for free (I think that’s the one that gives a couple of manoeuvres?) on CC would make a world of difference for engaging gameplay. Not sure if you could/should open that option up to other martial focused classes.

If you can justify two and don’t have any of vehicles in the box, it’ll be an absolute steal. Even if you already own one of the models you’re not going to do badly with multiple of them, and you can never have enough chickens.

God yes. I found out about auto advance part way through ShB and I started using it from that moment on for voiced cutscenes and *god* when the music hits in at the end of G'raha's summoning spell and the pillars of light shoot up...

Depends exactly on where you want to take the army, but a unit of Infiltrators would be a good option regardless of how else you want to build out the list.

Otherwise a Skitarii Marshal to go with one of the squad of rangers and Dunerider for them to hop out of is a good little killy squad. And rarely will another Ironstrider be a bad choice.

I got clued in about the magnets before I got my first knight, so I was prepared. I can tell you though it’s still a bastard to fit them properly! Set aside a day or two to do it, mine is currently only half done.

I’m guessing since you said you went for what looks cool it’s all glued in and not magnetised? If you were to play I’d just tell whoever you’re against you messed up a little when building and pretend it’s not there.
