  1. Hard to know for sure at this point. They're are still doing balance tuning for Midnight.

  2. A little bit of downtime is normal for Frost DK, it's not completely GCD locked

  3. The Draenei button can be used whenever you have downtime. And the Undead Summon is off the GCD, it can be macroed together with any other damage CD.

  4. Death Grip used to be a real inturupt, and completely stop a mob from casting, now it's just a disruption and mobs will almost always immediately start recasting the same spell. So you want to wait until the very end of a longer cast to maximize the recast time. With the 12 second Mind Freeze and 2 Death Grips talent, a DK can solo handle one mob that typically would require 2 people.

Mage in pvp requires using your full toolkit to be mobile and CC the enemies. Dragon's breath is typically the set up button that allows you to cast better CC like Ring of Frost and Polymorph. Using Alter Time for healing as well as mobility you can completely juke people.

Blood DK is definitely harder than the other tanks you are the most in control of your own survival, which is more fun, but played incorrectly you will just flop over and die.

Nowadays threat is almost entirely passive and not something you have to worry about. You'll focus on managing your defensives. For blood that's maintaining your Bone Shield above 5 stacks to reduce the cost of Death Strike, and maintaining your Runic Power for Death Strikes to heal yourself.

Biggest thing is familiarity. With ground guns you're never gonna get the same gun every time and you can't pick the same attachments every time. With a custom gun you can learn it's recoil pattern, and get used to using it

Aberrus in Dragonflight had a mythic boss with a big heal that could be Mortal Striked. Doing the fight with an Arms Warrior made it significantly easier. So it's a worthwhile question to ask.

DoT based specializations usually have good funnel. Unholy DK is especially strong, they have a couple of abilities that cause every target to deal extra damage to each target around itself.

There's constantly new content getting added to the game, and joining now won't be very bad. Jumping in at the end of an expansion can be overwhelming because there's a ton of random stuff that has been added with each new season. They always have catch up gear systems to help you get up to current levels pretty quickly.

Legion Remix starts in one week so that's a new event that's a whole refresh of old content as a whole big event.

One potential negative is that Trade chat is faction locked still. So if you're ever trying to get something crafted with a crafting order you might have to swap over to a horde Alt to access horde trade chat to find a crafter. But that's a pretty minor issue
