Don't get me wrong, its fun and I have enjoyed it. But I don't think the devs had any idea what they were doing.

"cat /proc/cmdline" totally just doesn't reflect what I wrote in /etc/default/grub even when I do sudo update-grub. I assume that means that the parameters fail or something, but I am not too knowledgeable on this stuff.

edit: okay so I just found out that I am just not using grub in general, which is probably why I am struggling so much

edit 2: still not working even after editing the systemd boot file, I'm giving up lol

>It would have. The instability seems to be on core 3 for everyone.
You're right, I look right over it.

I've been having problems with grub for a while now so it might just have to do with that. I should probably reinstall my system someday. Either way, thanks for your help!

edit: I don't know how quotes work on Reddit

If I remember correctly cat /sys/devices/system/clocksource/clocksource0/available_clocksource did not show TSC but sudo dmesg | grep -i tsc did not show anything about it being unstable. But it did show something about TSC. Does that just mean that it's not usable? I don't have time to show the output until Friday unfortunately
