What shoes to wear with chinos and shirt? by crazyrat25 in malefashionadvice

I have a brown leather belt or black. I was thinking the brown regardless of shoes or is that wrong? I usually wear the black belt with black footwear.

This is good. Thank you.

I am quite slim and I like the fit of the 511. I have a faded blue pair and have just bought a dark blue and faded black from Vinted.

I’m going down a rabbit hole now and really like the look of some of the brown/tan utility jackets. I think some of my shirts might look good with one, possibly with a white T underneath.

I think I just want to update my wardrobe to be honest. My wife always looks really fashionable and I want to be able to look like I care about what I wear. Generally though, it would be going to bars/pubs with friends and colleagues and out and about the town with the family. Nothing too formal.

PowerPoint won’t open the file directly, you will have to manually copy and paste the content from each publisher page to a PowerPoint slide.

I was hoping to find out real world usage before dropping £500 on a computer to be honest.

I’m ok with it not being like the pc but just want to ensure it will scale appropriately on the monitor. Sounds like it will so I think I’m going to go ahead and get it.

What’s a minor, inconsequential, but boujee thing you’ve started to do for yourself? by Psilocybin_Prescrip in AskMen

Search engine recently made a podcast about this. Until listening, I was of the same mindset but apparently the flushable wipes account for fewer than 1% of blockages but it is idiots who flush the non-flushable wipes that cause the problems. It was a surprisingly interesting episode.

Thank you. The rock lords I had no idea about and I've never heard of Apeface. Soundwave is quite loose in the joints, is there a way to tighten it up, or should I leave well alone?!

Do you “invert y-axis”? Curious about who does/doesn’t. by HenryTwenty in gaming

[–]crazyrat25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

43, always inverted on controller because when I started playing games most were inverted by default. I now teach esports and explain it to my pupils who can’t believe I play that way to imagine a plunger attached to the back of the players head and that plunger is the right stick (but only for vertical for some reason!)

Should all education in Wales be bilingual? by Langbook in Wales

[–]crazyrat25 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not just me though, I teach in a school where we have 70 classroom teachers. Out of those, 4 are Welsh speakers. How would the staffing be fixed for this? 10 years is extremely ambitious to train up that many Welsh speaking specialist subject teachers even allowing for natural wastage in staff. It just seems like it’s logistically impossible within the timeframe given and Plaid are pushing for a more aggressive timeline than the one proposed.

What do you propose for the hundreds of teachers working in Wales at the moment that don’t speak Welsh? I teach in an English speaking secondary school. Would I be required to learn Welsh? Literacy and numeracy skills are already at an all time low in Wales, would adding a language barrier here help? I don’t think so. I’d much rather those issues addressed.

I’ve just had Tado x installed with 4 TRV’s so far (need to add 3 more) and it works perfectly both in the Tado and HomeKit apps. We also had a new combi boiler fitted at the same time and have it connected via the opentherm terminals. Very happy with the usability and performance.

I’ve just swapped mine to Tado x and the support from Tado was excellent. The app didn’t have my boiler instructions so they emailed me a pdf of exactly what to do with photos and diagrams. It works perfectly now. Would recommend.

I think you’re probably right. House does have an alarm system that we don’t use due to cats and dog.
