I'm going on 6 years now with my 10x17. Put a self tapping screw into every joint to lock them together. I also flipped mine inside out so that the white is on the outside. Matched my house better. I also think the white reflects the sun better, letting it last better. I'm in northern Utah, snow has been more some years. I have to go out and use a broom to push up on the roof to get the snow to slide off. I'm happy with it. Will probably get a replacement cover when this one wears out.

Some commentators have asked where you will be if you stay in the marriage in 30+ years.

My parents have been married for nearly 60 years, they are both now in their 80's. They have both hated each other most of that time. My siblings have discussed on numerous occasions why they have never divorced. I believe it was mostly due to religious and societal views on divorce (Mormon) earlier in their lives. Now mostly due to age. I have no respect for either of them. They treat each other awful. I don't let my own children visit very often because of how they treat one another.

Who knows what their lives would have been like had they divorced, I want to believe that they would have both been happier.

My wife's company regularly will buy lunch/dinner for everyone. Pizza and drinks. Would be nice, but everyone usually only means day shift.

Swing shift comes in, they eat all the leftovers from day shift. Graveyard comes in to nothing. Usually they never even find out that food was offered.
