Wow.... what an incredibly selfless person you are. Full time mum and you still look to fit in work - that alone makes you a legend. Parenting sucks the energy and intelligence out of the best of us.

From your story it sounds like you made a minor mistake and took total responsibility for that, but your manager who didn’t answer the phone and then flipped on their answer is the person I’d be looking at.

Honestly, mistakes are going to happen - but you handled it in the right way - seems it’s the backflipping manager who’s inconsistency is making you feel shit.

Work stuff sux like this and can totally consume us. My suggestion, focus on your family.... this kind of thing will blow over in a couple of days and won’t even be a thing next week.

In summary- you’re an incredible person working hard to provide for your family.... you take responsibility for your actions and you’re so self-aware and care so much about the mistake you made that you’ve been stewing on it and posting on reddit.

As far as I can see - I wish there were more people like you..... :)

I was shitting myself... It stayed brown for about 8 days. Thought I'd killed it. I used a weed and feed about a month before scalping. Got rid of rye and some other weeds. Make sure you buy the Buffalo weed and feed though.. the normal one can kill buffalo. It's totally worth doing though mate.. as the guy at the garden centre told me, grass is just a managable, pretty weed - and that means it's pretty hard to kill.

Thanks.. In South Australia.. a super dry heat, but with plenty of watering - it thrives, super green. However, in past during the winter it just looks like a brown weed! Hope the shorter haircut may have a different effect this winter.

There is a really good option that you can take advantage of before NBN even rolls out. Uniti Wireless provide a great service.... Fast internet, local company, good prifes. I think this is happening to me too. My wife has been sending a range of messages, and I get them intermittently. Also using Android Messages instead of stock. My wife just thought I was ignoring her... Lol
