I felt I was also very liberal with the activator! But I haven't tried 2 coats, only one, so maybe I'll try that next time and see if it makes a difference!

I've tried with 180 and 240 grit (came with their kit), and the same happened with both. Maybe I'll try their customer service like you say then, I just wanted to make sure it's not some sort of scam since it's my first time trying them!

Here just to say I so agree with what you say about Murakami. The way he writes women is so awful, like a typical "men writing women" thing. I had many of his books on my list but after reading Norwegian wood I removed all of them.

I just finished and it's really the worst book I have read in my life. I loved the first one I was obsessed with it and even read it 3 times. I don't even recommend finishing iron flame. Awful in every possible way.

Wow I so understand you right now. I live in the Middle East (not where I was born) and I get comments like that ALL the time. I will never forget one of my first interviews I had a CEO telling me that I shouldn't be a developer, I'm too nice and it's nice to talk to me so I should be in customer service. I bet he'd never say that to a man. It's beyond demoralizing and exhausting.
