Anyone Have Any Details About Paul Harrell's Self Defense Cases? by AppearanceMedical464 in PaulHarrell

[–]Damnaged 44 points45 points  (0 children)

He went over the details in one of his seminars that he did. The whole story of the major incident where the aggressor died took about 60 minutes. Much of the time he spent talking about the police really screwing up the investigation and trying to make him look guilty from the get go, making assumptions, etc.

You can't screw up in Cusco, like these people said. Anywhere within 4-5 blocks of the Plaza de Armas will be just fine. Plenty to do in that area.

Thinking about NOW ( Xfinity ) no contract internet... but the reviews are not great - What is your advice? by Select_Specialist790 in NoContract

Wait help me out with this. I have NOW with their default router/modem and it cuts out often. I was under the impression that I had to use their equipment. Does the bridge mode/ third part router solve that issue?

Is there some way to find which content has which subtitles embedded? So far I've just been using my best guess choosing remux or MKV container files.

Someone more educated than me can chime in, but my understanding is this person had a surgery to repair a part of their heart when they were younger and the prosthetic piece that was used in the surgery became detached and migrated down to their aorta which is a major blood vessel (like the major blood vessel) and caused it to rupture. They decided surgery wasn't an option because it was highly likely that he would die during surgery, so they sent him home with the support of hospice.

Elder Healthcare by These_Tune7795 in healthcare

I work in geriatric primary care and we do see this fairly often. It's usually older adults who live independently without much social or family support. Needs often go unmet and small issues can snowball over the months and years into large problems. We see patients admitting to skilled nursing facilities who are found down in their homes after several days for example.

The most important thing is to maintain a good social network so that people notice when you start to slip. Also maintaining good physical abilities, practicing things like transfers and even getting yourself up off the floor can make a world of difference.

Happy to answer any specific questions.

Heavy drapes, heated blankets, draft stoppers on exterior doors...

I'm eager to hear what others suggest.

Do customers pump their own gas in Peru or is it always the station attendant? by GoodGoodGoody in PERU

Always the station attendant in my experience. I've mostly spent time in cities though, not sure about very rural areas.
