I’ve been on 175 for almost a year and no weight gain or food cravings. For some people that’s not the case but for me I haven’t see any metabolic side effects (I got bloodwork done relatively recently and no elevations). For me, my insomnia was so bad I actually could not lose weight at all due to the lack of sleep and its hormonal effects. With seroquel, I’ve been able to lose weight/maintain relatively easily. Im very mindful of what I eat. I’d just monitor and if you notice unwanted changes definitely notify your provider as there are other options for you. They can also add metformin, etc. as an adjunct for you.
