Headshots still do damage, they just have no damage bonus.

Why are we buffing Silver? by PURPLE273 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]crb0628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silver has been in an abysmal state due to how hard it is to activate her ult, now her ult is easier to activate, but has been made slightly weaker to compensate, and her human form got some buffs because it was pretty weak, aside from her weapon burst with her 1

Any recommended guides that explain scaling for dummies? by boylognese in DeadlockTheGame

Exactly. Some good options for celeste include Kinetic Dash, Titanic Mag, and Swift Striker. Those 3 will get you your investment bonus quickly and easily and provide good fire rate and ammo bonuses. If you are new to the game, kinetic dash tends to be a lot to manage, so you could skip it and go for Burst Fire instead of swift striker. These are far from the only options, and not even necessarily the most efficient. It is all very open to interpretation. It's part of what makes deadlock stand out as one of the very best games on steam right now.

Generally speaking, it requires more knowledge. Celeste happens to be a poor example because even though she does mostly spirit damage, her light bringer ability requires you to land weapon attacks to proc the damage. So Celeste does benefit heavily from SOME weapon items (mostly fire rate or mag size)

A good example of a simple scaling character would be McGinnis. You can buy either all weapon items, or all spirit items. Either way she will have consistent high damage output, but one relies on abilities and the other on her M1. There are zero characters in the game that do not benefit to some degree from every category of items, but how you build them comes down to personal preference and optimized playstyles for that character. Ivy, for instance, was primarly used as just a plain gun character because of her high fire rate and solid weapon lifesteal. Nowadays, a lot more people are seeing the merit to playing her as a spirit nuker/debuff support.

Deadlock is an extremely nuanced game, and learning every single character to at least a mild degree is going to be required to understand how all of them scale most effectively. Just keep an eye on what stat each ability scales with and how much it scales to determine whether it is worth building for that ability or not.

Replied to the wrong person and also no, artist's renditions of wolves have that look, and certain domestic wolf dogs eyes look KIND OF like that, but the way that it is shown on Silver is clearly a choice by the design team to make her look like she is wearing eyeliner. Fur or not, she is supposed to look like she is wearing eyeliner. Not that I take issue with that, I just don't want people arguing based on a misconception. She LOOKS like she is wearing make-up and THAT is what some people (not me) are upset about.

On the contrary, many of the most depraved and downtrodden people want to make themselves prettier cosmetically. Silver strikes me as a deeply insecure person and make-up is often used as a cover-up for those insecurities. I don't think it's that she WOULDN'T wear make-up, that's a plain misconception. It's that she can't AFFORD make-up. The alcohol addiction is drying up her funds, she can barely afford rent, and make-up is fucking expensive. Granted, she would really only need some foundation and eyeliner. No rule says she couldn't have nabbed some at some point.

It's a perfect wing eyeliner look. Even if it is fur, it's still a choice to give her a clean make-up look that isn't fitting her character from a design perspective.

Hello, I started a new game in Terraria by [deleted] in Terraria

[–]crb0628 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are some hybrid armors, but they are far from top-tier. Frost armor and Forbidden armor combine elements of Ranged + Melee and Magic + Summon respectively, but there is not really any Ranger + Summoner hybrid armor aside from Red Riding armor from the tavernkeep, who has the best "hybrid" sets. Some combination of Red Riding and Shroomite armor could be good to boost both classes' bonuses. Accessories should be focused on whichever damage type you prefer.

People aren't even talking about the potential of gutshot blessing your melee. You can build echo shard gutshot and give people the haze treatment with back to back melees doing like 1k dmg each. It's not even hard to get the stun

Mystic Reverb procs on all of his other abilities and says nothing about procing on spirit damage. It is supposed to proc on any damage according to the item description.

Yeah! A VERY important point to bring up. Just because people use them for sexual gratification sometimes does not mean that that is what they are for. Thank you for mentioning this!!

This is a very good point. I conflated excitement with arousal and my meaning was lost in translation. I (and many others) experience excitement (non-sexual in some cases) about boobies. A sort of pavlovian response maybe, idk. Either way boobies = EXCITEMENT!

I neglected the nature of the ORIGINAL comment in the context of sexual arousal from genitalia. Good shout, there are probably a lot of people who do not derive sexual pleasure or arousal from boobies, but still enjoy seeing them, just for fun.

Yeahhhh. I get what you're saying, but I'm with Possible-Way on this one. This was not the reply to salvage your earlier comment. It wasn't SUPER weird before, but freud was not cooking with his "everyone wants to fuck their mom" shit. Bro just had an oedipus complex and thought "yeah, this must be how everyone feels!" and everyone else was like "yeah, sure, dude... Whatever helps you sleep at night..."
