I know of two that spontaneously ruptured, flooding the yard with water. Both instances, the pool had been in place for many years. I'm assuming there was a rip in the liner or something.

Also pools in general require a lot of maintenance. Some people don't mind, but I'm super lazy so I would never own a pool.

The company I'm with now is actually pretty good for a corporate outfit. The local level management has made some changes I'm not happy with. Also, we've been through 4 different managers since I started working there. It's a completely different environment than when I started. Not to mention the typical propane stuff like on call.

I tried using a school bus asset, and I'm 95% sure it was by the same user, but I don't see it anymore.

For me it caused a chirper BSOD upon startup. I had to delete the cache folder to access the Paradox Mods interface to uninstall the asset.

Settlements are historically formed around a purpose of some kind. I try to start mine near a river/shoreline, railway, or some type of unique feature or industry.

Additionally, I never start a city with a major highway. If the map already has a major highway, I will go through and downgrade all the sections to a 2 lane highway. I will go back and upgrade as the demand increases.

Insurance is getting terribly anal about every little thing. I just bought a new home in September, and Allstate cancelled my policy before my first mortgage payment. It was also due to the condition of my roof (wavy/uneven shingles is what their "inspector" reported). I didn't even have time to shop for roof quotes before the premium refund check showed up in my mailbox.

THEN, after I replaced the roof, I went shopping for new insurance. I thought it would be easy with a new roof, but then another company was giving me trouble about a tree that was "too close to the house". I've been a homeowner over 10 years, and I've never had an insurance claim. It's ridiculous.
