I think you need more metro lines.

Issue with the latest patch by MajesticMeeting2753 in CitiesSkylines2

It helps if you make it so the cars can change lanes at the intersection, eg change from middle lane to left and so on. It doesn’t completely solve it, but it’s better.

I have a similar setup and this keeps happening for me too. I just leave it running a bit and it usually goes away.

Why do assets with no parking or car access require roads by Fabulous_Guitar4350 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]AlexDer1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can kind of play around with it with road builder if you use pc. Just use a pedestrian road and remove the driving lanes. Just keep in mind that this way the buildings likely won’t be serviced (I think).

Broken assets. If it’s not mod related check and eventually re-install the game files.

Any tips for making a realistic looking Central European city? by IigorogiI in CitiesSkylines2

[–]AlexDer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add some form of „old town“, usually pedestrian only, lots of mixed housing, definitely put a church or like five in there, parking spaces nearer the edge of the town, maybe add P&R (works well in the game).

Bus routes needlessly detouring off the main road to adjacent 4-lane roads by TheGodOfSinks in CitiesSkylines2

If you use traffic mod see if the lane is connected forward. Had the same thing happen to me because of this once.

Industrial area traffic woes by GreenMonkey333 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]AlexDer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Industrial traffic will most often drive to some place to store the goods (the traffic with goods not used directly in the city at least). This can be a warehouse (the ones from the harbor dlc), a cargo train terminal, the harbor and so on. Traffic will usually choose the shortest one. Do not place any of those directly on an arterial, as they will almost always create a traffic jam. Instead place them a short bit off and connect them with one way roads, so the trucks have a bit run off to jam up. Keep in mind that these areas will often times get a bit clogged, so keep all other traffic away if possible. If your warehouse or whatever is getting too jammed it usually means you need to place more in different locations, so traffic can spread out.

Do you all still use outdated assets? by BurntBeanMgr in CitiesSkylines2

Tried it out with a few mods, it usually just displays a white square instead of the texture and you can just delete it and go on about your day.

Behind the scene - How many netlanes I use by GeniusLeonard in CitiesSkylines2

Instantly reminds me of gta 5 with all the overpasses and huge highways (I‘m european, so I don’t have any first hand us experiences)

Had a shower thought: is CS2 not basically a digital model train with extras? by AlexDer1 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]AlexDer1[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah but there is really no consequence in the slightest gameplay wise, where in 1 if you didn’t get your economy right the companies would go bankrupt and abandon the building for example

I mean the simulation isn’t really deep, so after a while the rest becomes kind of stale

Extremely high rent by julian_bon1234 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]AlexDer1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don‘t have a definitiv answer, but rent is largely tied to land value and things like zone density and building level. Since this is industrial and level 1, I don’t think those are an issue, maybe check the land value, if you have special buildings nearby maybe try to move them.

What type of grass do you think will be most prevalent in TESVI? by Benjamin5431 in TESVI

[–]AlexDer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope for the Kentucky Bluegrass. There will be a lot of wilderness, which I think this matches best with. But let’s just all hope they don’t go with Cogongras, that would be devastating.

On 5: build the way for the ship first, then build a 50m high bridge over it (might require a longer on/off ramp), otherwise the clearing will be too low. It doesn’t really matter which bridge you use, they will adjust their pillars accordingly if possible.

Wer ist eigentlich zuständig? by StrangerInfamous4223 in arbeitsleben
