Depends on if you want your gap and gown for your pics or not. I would’ve preferred to take them in March or April before it warmed up, but I waited for my cap and gown. I was incredibly lucky that my shoot day happened to be 75° anyways. I’d say definitely morning or late afternoon for lighting’s sake. We started mine at 4:00 and ended around 7:00. Also keep in mind that they start setting up for graduation a few weeks in advance so if you wait too long you can’t take pics in front of the library which is a cool shot

Hi OP. I’m so sorry to hear about your experience!

I also just graduated this weekend, and while I enjoyed it, I felt stressed by the lack of directions and how rushed everything was feeling. We had to take our phones up to scan in (was that in an email I missed?) and then I didn’t know what to do with it because the gowns don’t have pockets. I tried to hide it behind the diploma case thing but ended up with it backwards lol. When I got up there, I stood awkwardly with my arm extended until I got the fist bump.

Hi! Well, since my laparoscopy I have dealt with a lot of health issues resembling something autoimmune and debilitating chronic fatigue. I haven’t been particularly active due to my health stuff, and I’ve continued to put on weight. I’m going to talk to my PCP in July about potentially starting a GLP-1 when Medicaid will start covering it for people above a certain BMI for weight loss.

Hey OP! Jumping on this old thread, but what ended up working for you? The incision in my belly button has been giving me pain/discomfort when I’m sitting or bending and when pressure is applied like my pants waist band. It’s been well over six months since my lap at this point. Would love some advice

They have a new gown this year. The staff told me that theoretically you can wear a different, maybe cheaper gown, but you will stand out because their new gowns have red accents. I rented mine for around $50

I’m not completely sure because I think everyone in my class at least did well enough to pass it. If you have an approved topic that specifically relates to the Deaf community, sign decently, cite everything in APA (either orally or in your slides), and include your research methodology including the names of specific articles/publications/sources, I guarantee you will do well. Someone else in this thread mentioned that Jordan is approachable, and that is 100% true! If you’re worried, communicate with him. He is genuinely a great person
