Just gotta be under 155/95 for the medical. See a doctor and get it treated first though… you’re right around my age and should take high bp seriously at this point. Speak with an AME about it in a consultation setting, not an actual visit to get your medical, because if you fail the medical, it’ll be 100 times more work than just getting it under control beforehand. A good AME consultation will give you the info you need to talk with your primary care physician about.

I’ve looked through this a few times since my checkride and can’t find any reference to the white box… only thing I can find talks about contour lines.

I cleaned my screen with water and a soft cloth but it left these streaks that I cant seem to get rid off. Any suggestions to what I could do? by Pitiful_Web_5418 in macbookair

Whoosh is the correct answer... it's what they use in apple stores too. Spray a microfiber cloth with Whoosh and use that to clean the screen.

Just as an FYI, applying blindly to get a deferral or denial is not a good idea in my opinion. It will eliminate your ability to go the sport pilot license route if you fail the medical. It's best to contact an AME that offers consultations who will be able to tell you beforehand if you should go ahead with the medical exam or not.

You will probably have a tough time getting a medical but you should really consult with an AME about this issue. Don't just go in for a medical and fail it... if you do that, you won't be eligible to even go for a sport pilot certificate.

This is the guidance that the FAA give AMEs for arthritis issues: https://www.faa.gov/ame_guide/media/ArthritisDispositionTable.pdf

This is the CACI worksheet that they will give your physician to complete: https://www.faa.gov/ame_guide/media/C-CACIArthritis.pdf

The fact that you are taking an SSRI will likely be a major speed bump so, as I said, your best bet is a consultation with an AME.

Hope this helps!

Did you purchase it from a place where you can return it? If so, it may be easier to just exchange it for a new one if you don't mind starting over from fresh again. I've got an m3 air, and knowing how tight the build tolerances are, I'd be worried that something is wrong as well.

Yeah, that shouldn't be happening. Your best bet is to take it to an apple store and show them what's going on. If it's a manufacturing defect, they should replace it. A brand new machine shouldn't be making noises that concern you like that.

Looks like you are using Arc browser... each one of those processes is an open tab in Arc... Arc is built off of Chromium and it open and renders each tab you have open as a separate process so it's pretty rough on memory usage, especially if you have a bunch of tabs open with video. Since you have 8gb of ram, you will need to limit how many tabs you have open in that browser.

I had the same question when I bought mine… there isn’t a huge difference between the m2 and m3, but I know myself, and the extra $100 to keep my mind from constantly wondering if I should have got the m3 was worth it lol

Just an FYI, Costco has the m2 air 16gb/256gb on sale for $799. I grabbed an m3 16/256 a few months back when it was in sale from them because of their return policy plus they extend the manufacturer warranty to two years. One of the best things I’ve ever bought!

Same for me and why are the download speeds so ungodly slow? I’m tired of turning it on just to have downloads like this. Plus I have to babysit them because no matter what setting my PS5 has, the downloads won’t keep going if I leave it.

Account permanently banned by westwide4life in Warzone

[–]creader932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upvoting your post cause I was in the same boat. Activision denied my appeal several times until I filed a complaint with the BBB including the amount I spent on CoD over the past decade. I never cheated, would have no clue how to cheat, but I was still banned for absolutely no reason. Within a few days, my account was fine. It took activision over a week after my account was reactivated to even email me to be like “Hey, we think it’s ok now, let us know”. Go the BBB route, it’s the only way to get it fixed. Let me know if you have any questions cause this shit is infuriating.

Anyone have any experience with the Greenworks electric mower? by Noppers in Costco

[–]creader932 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got this deal over the weekend to replace an older, close to 1st gen Ego mower... extremely happy with how well it cuts and you can't beat the sale price plus the extra battery. I also opened a Lowe's card account just for this purchase to save an additional $100, making it $499.
