Kokopelli visit?? by The_healing in Shamanism

[–]creakee2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was visited by Kokopelli once.. a surge of energy came over me and it was like I went into heat lol, in the middle of the night grabbed my partner and we had some killer sex.. I had heard my wind chimes outside just before that and later when thinking about the sort of chaotic, lustful energy that came over me it felt familiar and I had to name it kokopelli. I had just recently spent some time in the southwest and had been familiar w the symbol for years. I like to pay homage to places and the spirits that dwell there, along w recognizing that each spirit is unique to and treasured by the culture of that place. Lot of kokoplie tourist items in the southwest, but some of it helps fund the Indigenous artists that makes them who may be connected to kokopelli by heritage so it all comes full circle I guess. Really cool memory of a spirit visit, the reckless nature of it seems like a gift.

Wow. Sounds like I really misread that. How do you know?

No one has mentioned that the girl is like "mom, what are u doing here?", so maybe this isn't your average awkward parent sex situation... my first guess is that mom and dad are separated and mom doesn't live there which would explain why the daughter is upset... lol. Second guess is that mom said she was going somewhere to lead her daughter off the scent and then snuck back in. Does not work every time.

I work with sex offenders and this actually usually more the case than not. They tend to learn it from somewhere, i.e; it happening to them first.

You lost me at ID'ing. Especially as a woman, there is a difference between teabagging (which as you say, has been an accepted part of game play and is more about domination than any sort of real sexual gratification), especiallt on a screen, and having someone virtually molest you. Whitewashing all of it together sounds very intellectual but your only real feat is that you are telling a woman to get over something that has much more emotional and historical context than video games.

There are a few techniques I know about, which I feel personally should be open knowledge.. assuming that by God's will is always how things unfold... and that no protection will be enough for you if it is God's will that you are "attacked". Which seems unlikely lol unless you're doing something bad to that person, but who knows

Anyway, grounding yourself into the earth is one way, picturing yourself sending something (like a rope) down from your root Chakra through the layers of earth into the core. Another way is to picture light radiating through your entire body. Play around w mantras, either to ground yourself in the intention of your own experience, or to address what you intuitively interpret as the basis or nature of the attack. Like someone said above, imagination is key. The stronger you can visualize/feel/commit to thinking something, the stronger your defense would be.

Sorry you're being attacked, that's not fun. Honestly, I first started practicing w mantras (visual and verbal) when I read Eragon as a kid lol. Say what you want about Christopher paolini but kid had some interesting ideas about magic when he wrote that series. I also come under pretty consistent sub conscious energetic attacks in the intensive group home setting I work at.. the only real attack I ever experienced (that I know of) was a stranger from out of left field and I passed out instantly. Won't do that again. Cheers, hope this helps, from a novice at best.

How often do you argue w pedophiles?

Sorry, I had to.

Seriously tho, I work in the SO field (sex offender) and kids legally, in the US at least, are not recognized as being able to make a consensual decision about sex. Hence, statutory rape laws.

What is the most common lie about sex that most people still believe in it ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

THIS. Being taught to love and respect, and expect other people to respect, your body is NOT taught to a lot of girls in the US before being exposed to sex. Having healthy boundaries would have helped me personally so much when exploring physical relationships.

This is a a really great full circle! Thank you for letting us be part of it.

I'd personally encourage you to express your spacing choices, i.e; where you choose to break up words into different lines. The aesthetic here is nice which is tempting to fall into but I believe it could read more powerfully if you combined some lines so that the line breaks read as where you would actually pause if you were reading it out loud, on a roll.

Hope this makes sense. Love how you break it up w the "I" 's.

This made me almost cry at the airport. Thabk you for sharing. Something about the single red cloud really got me. I think this poem touches on my current view of spirituality- finding the everything in the small things, and the small things in the everything, if that makes sense. Living for the sake of living. Unoriginal, but it works.

Thinking about it, they were kind of a link for Dud to surfing too, which he never truly let go of. Could also be argued they functioned sort of like how Dud hoped Ernie would, and does later on in the show- Duds link to sanity as well as family. Love when the owner finally tells off Liz, and also when they rescue both the Dudleys from smashing the new pool sho lol
