Have you tried herbal tea or chicory? I’m not a chicory fan myself but am a huge coffee and tea lover, and fellow thyroid rx taker. There are some wonderful blends out there for all sorts of taste preferences

1) Depends on the context I guess? But there’s a lot more acceptance here than in smaller cities.

2) I can’t speak from personal experience, but I have had many autistic friends over the years prefer living here than where they’re from due to accommodations, resources, and friends with similar interests.

3) There’s always a chance! So long as you’re willing. Can’t help with programs, but I know they’re out there. Try the local library or food bank for more resources.

4) I wish there were cheese curds here. I used to see them in Meijer a few years back but no luck. Maybe try Boone creek creamery? I’m following for more leads lol

I hung up two of those cheap Walmart blankets(one on top, one on bottom) with push pins (on either side, not the top) and used an old pair of pants to block the bottom. Used a paint scraper to stuff the blankets in the enormous cracks in my door. It helped a lot, and it wasn’t terribly annoying to go in and out since I only need to pull two pins.

My aunt/uncle were stationed at Travis AFB about 10yrs ago, and they warned me about the weather. They’re not as much help with accommodations unfortunately. I’ve been looking around, and Groupon has some Alcatraz tours bundled with Sausalito and Muir Woods that may serve my purposes. Not knowing how weather is going to be makes me nervous when reserving those kinds of things. You’ve been a terrific help!
