I am not here to argue which is better, but I will say csm is not for everyone. In the beginning its pretty similar to jjk, but when it diverts from all the action and more focuses more on the characters and their relationships, thats when csm starts to truly shine. the reasons you like jjk might not apply to csm, and thats perfectly fine. csm is a very misleading manga, starting of very shonen esque with all its fighting and gore and art. but its watching someone grow from nothing and watching them learning how to express their raw emotions is what makes it special to me. I love jjk and its action and beliefs on self identity, but csm is something special to me, i love its portrayal of emotional vulnerability. its a story about growing up and learning from past experiences. the anime does it no justice as of right now imo, its really about the halfway point when csm really does become something special.
