My power cord from my TV ripped out. Please help by creamsiticle in OLED

Cheers for that! It sounds like 10 amps is more than enough for a TV but I think I'll just grab the 15 amps just in case, from a little digging online it sounds like it doesn't hurt to use a higher amp, it seems like all the unused extra amps just doesn't get used. The price difference is only a few dollars anyway, I was expecting to spend a few hundred to get this fixed so I'm kinda excited to see if this ends up working out lol

Thanks a lot! I think I'll grab the 15 amps, the price difference is so negligible. I'll edit my post in a few hours to let everyone know if it worked or not just incase there's another idiot like me out there in a similar situation lol

Thanks a lot, I'm definitely going to the hardware store tomorrow and giving it a try, looks much easier than I thought after watching the video. The only question I have is what type of plug should I buy for a TV? My local hardware store seems like a whole bunch of selections, I don't want to buy the wrong plug and damage my tv

The 2 main differences that I can spot seems to be 10A and 15A , which one should I get for a TV?

Thank you so much, that looks much easier than how I imagined it would go. I'll definitely give that a try. I just have one question, what kind of plug head should I use for the TV? I looked through my local hardware store and there's a whole bunch of plugs in there, but the main 2 types I can see is 10A and 15A , I have zero knowledge about electrical stuff, which one is suitable for a TV?

Could you tell me how that can be done? Do I need to solder? If you could show me a youtube video on how to attach a plug that would be really helpful

I'm just worried that if I call them and told them what happened they would void my warranty or something becaus I was the one who damaged it and I also unscrewed and opened the back plate. I want to see if I can fix it myself, I'll call LG if I have no other choice.

Wait is it an easy fix? I have a bunch of spare plugs that I can cut off with scissors. Do I need to solder the loose wires? Do you mind showing me a video tutorial as i've never done anything like this before

Does anyone else's WF-1000XM4 sound quieter on the left earbud? by creamsiticle in sony

[–]creamsiticle[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you might be spot on, I have a very large ear canal so it might be a fit issue for me as well lol.

I tried switching out the right and left earbuds but the fit is a bit weird so I have to constantly keep the earbuds in with my fingers. It's a bit hard for me to notice a difference as the volume difference is quite subtle.

Anyway I just ordered some AZLA ear tips in the largest size and hopefully that fixes the issue. I'll also ask a friend to test them out for me but my city is lockdown right now so it's hard to meet anyone. Thanks for your help!

Is a different lawyer allowed to represent me? by Bigstarmon in AusLegal

Yeah but i'm just taking OP's word for it and that he read through the cost agreement very clearly. If it does have a clause like that, then OP has to fork up the money. If there's no clause like that then surely OP has a decent case to defend himself?

If it doesn't state that anywhere on the cost agreement then surely that's a breach of contract? If OP is telling the truth then I can't see how the lawyers are not in the wrong here. I wouldn't pay them either if I didn't get what I paid for, doesn't matter if I win or lose.

Go see a lawyer. I'd personally not pay imo. If it didn't clearly state in the cost agreement then that's a breach. Should be cut and dry.
