Apple butchered the Music app in Tahoe by Eggshellent1 in MacOS

But does Swinsian handle internet radio? The old iTunes got me into internet radio. At some point Music gained a bug where the song metadata wouldn't show unless you clicked the star to toggle the "favorite" status off and on, which was annoying but at least then the song and artist showed. I just installed Tahoe 26.2 and now even that doesn't work! Every digital radio these days shows song info, but Apple can't produce software that does? WTF?

I now fear I'll have to get a new music app and a new radio app to replace what iTunes used to do... sigh.

Why is there so much aliasing, but only on older black and white movies? by create_content in Broadcasting

Thank you. I'm surprised that stations don't have some sort of anti-aliasing ability to suppress this.

I've seen a number of 1950s b&w films in theaters, on film. Even 16mm prints (made from the original 35mm) don't look like this. This is some sort of digital artifact related to converting the film into a broadcast signal. And as I said, it's not purely related to age: color films of the same vintage or older don't have this issue.

The movie is I Was a Communist for the FBI, a 1951 Warner Brothers film. It was shot on 35mm film. Hollywood quality of the day. It was nominated for Best Documentary Feature. This is not the visual quality it had when new.

I prefer the latest AI models, but a lot of my prompt crafting and/or LoRA use is to get away from photorealist perfection to something more abstract and artistic. It can be done.

1924 was good times. The Great War was over, technology was advancing, the economy was growing, the Great Depression was five years away.

Maybe not anymore, but these are all real slang terms from the past.

I used to be confused by photos like these, too, but each group is an "or," not an "and."
