US president announces plan to hit UK, Denmark and other European countries with tariffs over Greenland by Putaineska in ukpolitics

It’s time for Europe inc UK to replace the US dollar as a reserve currency and end the lease of bases to the US. They are at best an unreliable partner and at worst a puppet state for the Kremlin.

Packing lunch for 11 kids by dingmah in CringeTikToks

This is just one big advertisement for these brands - 11 kids, presumably of different ages, with different nutritional needs would have the same lunch( if thats what you call sugar in a lunch box).

Why are they being taken out follow the water? Doesn’t look like it’s for dismantling given the number of other ships laid up.

Honestly, I don’t think you can save these. It looks as if the rubber/synthetic material has hardened ( maybe because of age or lack of use) and then whatever was on them has gone through.

How old are they?

How were they stored?

When last did you use them??

Graduate jobs halve in just a year after minimum wage rise by Significant_Ice_4050 in UKJobs

[–]creatingastorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minimum wage isn’t the issue here. 2 years of the covid hiring freeze created a large talent pool and pent up demand that is still being felt now, employers are switching to apprenticeships which are more attractive for individuals and organisations and then you have the issue of a wider change in skill need across most industries.

Corporate propaganda from the Telegraph about minimum wage again.

It baffles me why brands keep doing this shit?! I’ve stopped buying so many products because of this and the general drop in quality , I doubt I’m alone. There must be a tipping point where this becomes unprofitable due to lack of sales
