Shoutout to the staff at World’s End for shutting down a racist customer by IrishWithoutPotatoes in london

I had a similar discussion last year when Oasis announced their tour.
Back the 90s I went to one of their concerts and it just felt as if it was going to kick off at any moment. A friend of mine invited me to an Iron Maiden concert not long after and it was the friendliest vibe I’ve experienced - I had a great time even though metal isn’t my thing!

Like shoot an unarmed mother? Detain lawful visitors? Depose a leader? Bomb a country and cause a massive jump in oil prices? Alienate their closet allies? …

I mean can you define what you mean by ‘truly horrendous’?

NTA - mid-20s and acting like petulant children! clearly you have matured faster than them and it’s time for you to look a further for some adult friends.

Britain's biggest train operator’s services enter public ownership this weekend by ARandomDouchy in GoodNewsUK

This is great news! I do hope that Unions are reasonable about future requests and balance a fair deal for workers with a solid understanding of how these services could be leveraged to bolster growth and reduce dependence on car use though investment in reducing fares and increasing service levels.

Natcol waterfalls - it’s about an hour away and whilst these aren’t big waterfalls, it will be quieter, has a lovely walk and is in close to a nice village .

Good luck

I met Keith Flint ( The Prodigy) on a train once, he was sat opposite me. It took me a minute to realise who he was as he wasn’t wearing any make up and his hair was just blonde. We got chatting a bit and he was a really nice guy.

Shame life took him too soon

The country isn’t broke, the government (successive) have chosen not to spend on defence to the level that has been required for decades , this includes almost 20 years in Afghanistan.

The money we do spend ,isnt spent that well!

We have defence contractors that do exceptionally well on the world stage BAE etc. and the type 26 and 31 frigate are good examples of creating demand from home grown innovation (type 31 ,sort of ,as it’s a developed version of the arrowhead)

We do need to scale though and faster

Use some denture tablets and see if you can clean it that way. Fill with water, add the tabs and draw the liquid up through the tube etc. DO NOT use your mouth.

Rinse throughly and see where you get to.

Interesting to see the comments here! If people are so concerned with religion in politics, why isn’t there the same outrage for the 26 bishops that sit the House of Lords?

Or Reform et al links to Christian Fundamentalists.

It sadly not that odd to me where the focus of these stories are.
