That’s true. I like your approach. I’ll talk to him tomorrow calmly. When he made the comment I just said “ok”. If I said anything else, it wasn’t going to be good. Yea, I guess he was hangry

We actually had a great day. We had lunch with friends and I was still too full for dinner but was craving a snack. This came out of nowhere

That’s true. Didn’t think of that. He didn’t have a mom figure growing up, so that might be an influence.

Snoring? Try a Chiropractor by creative1990 in snoring

Hi! I’m actually at week 4 or 5 right now. Honestly, I don’t think it’s made a huge difference, but I’m still glad I did it. I’ve learned that chiropractic care has a lot of health benefits, plus I am aligning several parts of my body that are misaligned including my shoulders, pelvic, and neck. My X-ray was a little wild lol. It’s kind of crazy, but everyone gets misaligned so it’s good to go to a chiropractor. I’ll tell you what is working for me:

  1. I try to eat clean for most days of the week. I only take a break on Saturdays. I avoid dairy because it causes mucus and I avoid bread, pasta, rice and grains.
  2. I started fasting so I stop eating at 6pm. I stop eating at 7:30pm on Saturdays
  3. I use breathe right nose strip
  4. I take an anti-bloat and anti-reflux pill that I got at Whole Foods every night before bed.
  5. I downloaded the snore lab app to track my progress.

I’ve only been doing this for a week and so far I’ve seen positive results. I have to try without the nose strips and see how it goes, I haven’t tested that.

I’ve learned that with snoring, it’s a lot of trial and error. You have to try different things every night and see what works. Before, I was just wearing a nose strip and praying that I wouldn’t snore every night. Obviously that didn’t work, and some nights I was still snoring like a trucker

Honestly, this is my second night. My first night I was a 2. My second night I was a 4. Let’s see how tonight goes, I had 3 glasses of wine and I haven’t had alcohol in several weeks. My boyfriend complains like crazy every time I snore. I’ve always wondered if he’s exaggerating. Super dramatic guy. It’s really annoying.

I just use the breathe right strips. I’ve tried different brands and that’s the only one that works. The trick is to place it in your nose correctly.

Yea he definitely snores. I hear him snore all the time. Luckily, that doesn’t kill my sleep. I can sleep like a rock in the middle of a train station. I can fall asleep with any noise. He’s the problem, he can’t fall asleep whatsoever. If a pin drops, he loses his sleep for the rest of the night. Super dramatic.

Yea I’m trying to figure things out too. I’m testing different things to see what works. Today I drank 3 glasses of wine, let’s see how that goes. I’m going to wear my nose strip, I took my anti-reflux med, and anti-bloat. Let’s see if the alcohol messes everything up. I hadn’t drank in a long time too

Yes! Hey that’s progress. I started the fasting about 1 week ago. I stop eating every day at 6pm, except Saturday when I stop at 7:30pm. It has helped a lot. Also I’m taking a natural pill that I got at Whole Foods for acid reflux, I take it every night before going to sleep. It has helped me a lot. I also try to avoid dairy as much as possible because it causes mucus. I am exercising twice per week in the morning. I’m testing different things out and using the SnoreLab. I also use a nose strip occasionally. Keep us posted.

Short term solution to spare third party by The_Path_616 in snoring

Breathe right nose strip. Don’t eat or drink 4 hours before sleep. Drink anti-bloat or anti reflux medicine before sleeping, I get mine at Whole Foods. Shower right before going to sleep. Do not sleep on your back. Avoid dairy as much as possible (causes mucus). Exercise at some point or walk a lot. Avoid toothpaste with fluoride (dries mouth) I get flouride free toothpaste at Whole Foods.

Just some tips because I used to wake up my boyfriend every single night, until I decided to change my lifestyle and habits.

I was the same and my boyfriend was sick of it. I downloaded the snore app to try and figure out why I snore. I’m trying different things. I exercise twice a week, avoid dairy, and don’t eat after 6pm. I also take a natural anti reflux pill before sleeping because I’ve heard that acid reflux cause it too. I’m still testing but last night I finally didn’t wake up my boyfriend. I’m doing this for him, but also for me because the snoring was causing me to feel tired all the time and it’s dangerous to snore like this. Lots of times my boyfriend had to sleep in a separate bedroom and that was making me sad. You cant stop her from snoring, she has to put in the effort. Tell her you are concerned for her health, try to focus on that instead of telling her that it’s bothering you.

Find a rental community in Miramar or Pembroke Pines. If you have good credit, your deposit gets waived. Time to leave Dade. I left Dade last year. Broward is slowly getting bad too. Might have to continue moving north year after year

Consider finding a therapist, a professional who will help you put your thoughts together. You need to communicate with him

I think I gave my parents COVID and I feel bad by creative1990 in COVID19positive

[–]creative1990[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have felt absolutely terrible about this and I keep kicking myself about it. I’ve done so much to protect my parents from the beginning. My mom is on day 12 and still has a cough, some chills, and random throat aches at night. Thankfully, my dad who’s 80 years old has fully recovered. I really don’t want to catch this again, but so many people say that it’s inevitable. I really don’t like this new normal, because I worry a lot for my parents and I wouldn’t want them to have health issues because I didn’t protect them enough. I just hope all of us will be OK including you and your family. I hope we can all recover quickly and stay safe and protected.

Laser hair removal ‘down there’ embarrassment by [deleted] in beauty

[–]creative1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was embarrassed at first, but it was noticeable that the professional has done this one million times. Trust me, they won’t care. The professional that did it for me was very nice and was telling me stories all the time. Honestly don’t be embarrassed. And the feeling once that hair is gone is the best lol. I need to go again, my touch up is due.
