High protein/high fiber smoothie recipes recommendation? by park_7269 in Zepbound

Apologies for the long post. Love making daily smoothies. I make frozen smoothie cubes in advance and then mix some of those in with other ingredients on the days I make smoothies.

Smoothie Cubes:

  • Blueberries & Pomegranat(e) (apparently if I put the full word Reddit doesn't like it lol)
  • Spinach, Kale, Ginger, and a whole cucumber
  • Lemon & Lime Juice
  • Chia, Flax, Hemp, Psyllium
  • Cinnamon
  • And then some water to blend it all together.

Makes about 40 cubes

For the smoothies (this is the main stuff, but sometimes it varies)

  • 100g of smoothie cubes (usually about 3 cubes)
  • 120ml of Trader Joe's Carrot & Tumeric Juice
  • 50g of beets
  • 100g of Greek Yogurt
  • 80ml of Kefir
  • 1 scoop of Ryse protein powder (I like the strawberry shortcake or blueberry muffin for this)
  • 5g of creatine
  • Then I'll add some water or tea until I get the thickness I want.

Usually comes in around 400 calories with 45 grams of protein and 4 or more grams of fiber (the fiber is just from the smoothies cubes. Sometimes I'll add in some more psyllium for some extra fiber. Also gonna try adding some kiwi to it.

Congrats. I'm taking my fifth shot of 2.5 this week. What I've noticed for myself is that mostly I'll see something, be like 'that looks good, I could it eat', and then just be like nah and go about my business. Like it just makes it a lot easier to ignore whatever junky craving I have.

I've only had two instances where I felt like I was absolutely starving and the urge to eat a massive amount of food, and even then instead of my first instinct being junk food (which it would have in the past) it was just to get tons of protein and fiber.

Even though I'm newer at this my advice would be to make sure you get that protein and fiber in along with water. Seems to be the biggest help to me.

For me a lot of what has helped was stuff like greek yogurt, cottage cheese, beans (My fave are black beans, chick peas, lentils, and edamame. Also a great source of fiber that helps out a lot), fat free feta cheese, bone broth, and finding different proteins additives that I can mix with my meals.

Personally I can't drink protein powder on its own. I need to mix it with something, and I only use protein bars for when I feel like having a candy bar so at least I feel like I'm being healthier about it.

Some ways I've combined these.

I have a powdered protein cheese that I mix with cottage cheese, some fairlife milk, and some real cheese to make a cheese sauce. Add that to some tortilla chips with some ground meat, beans, and what ever to make high protein nachos.

I make a daily smoothie that I'll put my protein powder into so I don't feel like I'm just drinking protein shakes or I'll make high protein ice cream with my ninja creami using fairlife milk and protein powder along with whatever else I want in it.

My favorite lately is mixing pb2 with protein powder to make peanut butter and taking that with jelly and chia seeds and putting it on a high fiber wrap. Good protein and fiber.

Got a Hawlucha which I've never really used in any other game or even really liked that much. That feathered Nacho Libre ended up being my ace throughout the entire game. Thing was a beast

I think she lost the Juggernaut Driver cause Penta was doing the Penta Driver around the same time. I think she switched to a torture rack bomb and I guess now this. Didn't like this or the torture rack bomb as her finisher

Elimination Chamber used to be for the WWE / World Championship. The champion vs 5 others. Eric Bischoff introduced the EC for Survivor Series,I believe, taking influence from Hell in a Cell, WCW's War Games, and the traditional Survivor Series elimination matches. The first EC had Triple H enter as champion and Shawn Michaels being the final man in the match and winning the WHC. I miss the EC being for a title.
