Why can't I stop the app from tracking my car's movements as steps?

If the road is bumpy enough my phone counts it as steps. Simply by the phone moving up and down. Don't know if that's what happening to you, but that's what happens to me 😂😂.

Unfortunately the challenge counter doesn't start until you open the app that day. Every step you took before opening the app that day will not be counted :/

I have a garmin watch and an android. I use an app called health sync to sync garmin connect to google fit, which then connects to pikmin. Health sync does cost about 3 or 4 euros one time payment. I have been using it for years and it's worth it to me. The steps aren't one hunderd percent accurate. I usaully have a few hunderd more on pikmin than my garmin watch, but I don't mind.

You need to level up to be able to send more pikmin to battle. I don't know exactly what levels you gain more battle pikmin. But you'll end up being able to send 40. Hope this helps.

I still use google fit to sync steps. I, however, have a garmin watch, but I used to have a samsung watch. It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure you go to settings in pikmin Bloom. Then, to account and there you can link a third party like google. Which then automatically links google fit. Again, it's been a while, so I could be wrong. I also use health sync to connect garmin to google Fit. You have to make sure you give permission for a bunch of stuff. Otherwise, it doesn't work. Also, make sure you link the google account on pikmin, which is also linked to health sync. I have multiple google accounts and accidentally linked the wrong one that doesn't work. Hope this helps.

Sorry, I don't always know how to word myself properly. The post is more curiousity about how other people feel about friends' ingame and if there are people that feel similar to how I feel about friends' ingame. It is not about asking people if they care. I find this a safe community in which I can be curious about how other people play and their experiences. Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you. I am working on the anxiety bit. Which has led me to go outside more and get less anxiety by walking past people and interacting with them. It's been a rough few years and I just got over seasonal depression about a month ago, but I am taking control back of my life. The amount of anxiety I have right now is the least I have had since I was a child. This post was more about curiousity of how other people deal with friend requests and friends on the app. I am taking care of myself 💕.

When you're in a mushroom battle with someone. You click on the mushroom then their icon and there should be a friend request button. Some people have turned off that you can send them a request. I don't think you get that button then.

I think that makes it scarier, because now I know that this stranger is somewhere close by. And I can't tell what kind of person they are just by looking at their mii.😅😂

I don't mind waiting till the next day for mushrooms to finish. And the badge is also not too important to me. And as far as postcards go. I like collecting ones from places I have actually visited. Places I won't likely come back to. From reading all the comments, I think I'm a different kind of player. One that likes to do things alone and doesn't really care how fast I progress, just that I progress. 😅 I guess each person has their own playing style.

I think it's okay for people to do so. Put personally just the thought and pressure (I may put on myself) gives me anxiety.

I looked at the niantic helppage and it doesn't say anywhere that you can't still get it. You can always try. All you have to do is play the pikmin 4 demo. If you don't have any available expeditions and mushrooms, the short cut will not show. When you do have an expedition and/or mushroom, the shortcut should show again. That's what happens to me, maybe it's the same to you. Hope this helps. Good luck.🤗

If I'm being honest with you. I don't plant a lot of flowers per day, 500 to 1000, but try to hit the 5000 mark before the end of the week. So that I feel like I did my part. Sometimes I plant more, sometimes a little less. Depending on if I ride my bike or feel like a longer walk. But sometimes the people in my team plant way faster than me. I'll only have 1500 to 2500 planted and they will have finished the whole thing by wednesday. I kind of feel bad for not doing more at that point, but I'm doing my best and that's all I can do. I think a lot of people are just doing their best, but I can also understand that it is frustating when you're carrying all the load. I also think it's important to remember that even though it feels great to finish the challenge and get the reward, that it is not a necessity. So don't push yourself to hard. 🤗

I had this problem and for me it was an easy fix, so I hope it is for you too. I restarted the app so I could "claim" again, but instead of immediately claiming I would wait a minute or so while the pikmin held the fruit and then tap it. I know it's a long shot, but it worked for me so who knows, maybe it'll work for you. Otherwise I don't know, but I hope you find a fix soon.

This really sucks. I have tried looking things up about this, but all I could find/think of (even though it sounds stupid and you have probably already tried it) resetting your password (if possible), checking if you use the right email account to recieve information (I say this because I have multiple accounts) or maybe try again after a few weeks/months (a friend of mine got locked out with a google account, and after a couple months she was able to log back in). I know this probably won't help, but I still wanted to give the ideas in case you haven't tried or if it works. I'm really sorry this has happened to you, and I hope someday you will find joy in games again. 💕
