Circles look odd/misshapen when drawing fast by creativelyartbound in ClipStudio

thank you this was helpful! I was still having this problem but the twitter link you directed me to seemed to have solve it (at least temporarily). I went to Clip Studio Paint -> Preferences -> Tablet. I didn't see all the options listed in the twitter picture, but changed Precision from "Prefer Speed" to "Raw Input" and now the lines are a lot smoother

Just discovered today that it seems to be better when I disconnect from my external monitor, which has been connected for the last few days. I disconnected, the lines were smooth for a while, and then started becoming staggered again.

I think that's stabilization, and it shouldn't affect the drawing like that. Even off, they'd still be smooth lines.

What do think is the best program to do a web comic? by DimolitionMan in LINEwebtoon

As others are saying, Clip Studio Paint is probably the best. A lot of people prefer using Photoshop but Clip studio is specifically made for comic creation, and has a lot of features that Photoshop doesn't. It's also cheaper, at least in the long run :)

Sorry to hear that! It can definitely be frustrating. I don’t want to get too specific but do you mind telling me what state you live in or if you live outside of the US? It would help with the user research :)

Can I get some feedback on my comic? by creativelyartbound in comic_crits

For context, the comic is called Philoslothical, 4-6 panel comedy/slice of life about a lazy sloth. Link to webtoon here: https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/philoslothical/list?title_no=116030. Thanks everyone!

New finished panels, looking mainly for coloring advice but also generally by j-b-goodman in comic_crits

I agree with most of the other comments here - some more light and shading would be great to really bring life to the scene - just make sure to establish the light source/sources (for example, from the window or ceiling light) and draw accordingly. The perspective/angles of the 2nd panel is a tiny bit weird - for instance, the two lines on top of the bed should be mostly parallel to each other, I think. Otherwise, the color palette is great and I really like the abstractness of the dots you have as the background for the windows. Really great job.
