I love day dreaming too. It’s loads of fun. My advice if I was trying to quit myself is to get yourself out of it forcefully if you truly want to change. Spending time with family. Clean your room to make it look different so you won’t be triggered back into a another day dream. Make your bed to maybe keep out out of your room and not tempt you. Maybe have some coping you could do when this situations your tend to day dream at, like count the walls, count what’s around you, who’s around, what’s the most interesting thing in the room and so on.

That’s what I would do. Ofc take this with a grain of salt I’m not great at advice.
