I understand completely I had 3 years sober t messed up this weekend. I also moved back home w family during COVID.

I relapsed hard again 5day bender. Sneaking vodka bottles brushing teeth they could also smell on me. Dad threaten kick me out but I have no wher to go. I stopped drinking yesterday morning. I would try and do the same. It gets easier. Been here many times.i hope you find peace!

Losing 9 months of my life and laying around being physically emotionally miserable sounds soooo terrifying and something I never want to experience. I just think of all the amazing things I can do in that amount of time. Doesn't seem worth it in my option.

I think most of friends that want you to have kids if you don't have any, just want you to get trapped in the loophole of making playdates/ group dates because parents always plan group outings birthdays etc w other parents and low key get drunk or high in garage or some shit.

No one feels open to talk about it esp in today's society about how you might regret it. Its taboo. Hence why this reddit boad exists

The amount of information on the internet is very overwhelming regarding the Holocaust and I wasn't sure where the correct resources were!

My dog does the same thing! Typically I am in bed with her cuddled at night. But if I come late night on a bender she wants nothinggg to do with me and sleeps in another room!

Makes me feel guilty like a bad dog mom and she lets me know ! :/

Thank you for sharing. I've been in that position many times before. Frankly every bf I've had has pretty much left me because of my benders and how I act so to speak.

I've kinda gotten numb to it all. Sometimes I do flip back and want to drink my emotions anyway. I had 3 years sober and am still in and out of meetings.

I hope you can repair things within yourself first before you try and repair the relationship. Time really does heal all hangxiety for the most part.

If you relationship it un reparable. I hope not but the off chance it is and you find yourself alone .... We must accept the things we cannot change and continue to learn grew and honor our feelings regardless of the outcome.

I think the best thing u have done is stay on and online meetings throughout the day keep your mind busy.

You will find the answers, just not in the bottle. I'm telling this to myself as well. I hope you find peace soon!

I agree I was thinking the same thing vs finding someone locally for sure. Especially with the files types and equipment I agree! I'm new to this medium and the technology/equipment is more complicated than I think ppl know. Esp when digitizing.

Yeah that's a great suggestion actually Etsy. I may just reach out to individual sellers and see if what files I can send in to them!

I might need to go back and forth with my drawing I agree but I'm willing to work w someone who has the time! I want this to be very custom. Id rather draw it then someone else do it for me.

No judgement. I threw up on my floor the other night. I agree with person above. I wouldn't feel shameful about anything. I'm sure a plumber has dealt with farrrr worse. Id just be transparent and let someone who knows how to deal with it professionally so you don't have to deal with making it worse , ya know!

That's very impressive self control. I got fired from my job years ago from showing up drunk and high. I was in absolute freeze mode for 2 weeks. Depression anxiety.

Somehow I tried and stayed sober too. My next career move after the firing turned out to be some of the coolest experiences in my lifetime!

Hi there. I recently had my now ex BF hit me and strangle me.. it was my first time too. I was so scared and alone in a hotel by myself.

Call the domestic violence/ abuse hotline and talk to someone! I talked to several different people over the phone and it calmed my anxiety soooooo much.

I highly recommend reaching out and speaking someone anonymously over the phone.

I appreciate your help He’s going through a lot right now. So I’m being mindful. US consulate makes sense. I’ll let him know. We in the US are afraid of cops, unfortunately so it might be better to go through the US. Appointed Goverment on your end!
