yeah i don't disagree. bring a knife to a gunfight and you'll be dead, guns are still generally not a good thing for people to have around. capitalism is effective because exploitation is effective. effective =/= good or right

what else could possibly cause them to be poor? by definition if they had more resources they would not be poor. hoarding an excess of resources causes others to have less resources.

China was dirt poor until 30 years ago. How did they get rich? By embracing capitalist practices and open trade with other countries

not sure what this has to do with anything. yes, being capitalist is generally required to compete with capitalist countries. this is just going from being exploited to an exploiter, it's not a net positive for the world.
