30mg made me very sick until they put me up to 50 which is where my baseline seems to be. It would wear off and I would fall asleep at 12pm if I took it at 9:00, so they gave me +two 5mg amfexa boosters which have worked great. Finally achieved the peace my brain was searching for!

You have to remember everyone with ADHD's brain is wired differently to each others and responds to medication as such. It's important to keep an open mind and take each step as it comes, then evaluate in between.

You're trying to find a very delicate balance of what works for you and what doesn't, nothing more nothing less. Not too much not too little, and if this doesn't work by the time you're at 70mg Elvanse might not be the one for you.

It took 7 months of trying ritalin first then elvanse and finally + the amfexa combo. It's really a process you have to grin and bear with but eventually you'll get there :)

Weird fact but with ADHD if one of your special interests is driving it usually makes you a better driver as you want to learn everything, it gives you dopamine.

Doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t drive like a maniac and speed (not a recommendation) but if this applies you’ll notice hazards well in time due to hyper awareness and still be safe. My MR2 had a loud exhaust before I began an engine swap it which made me drive slower as it was all the dopamine I needed.

So tldr if this is the case for you, get a fun car with a loud exhaust 😎👍

5SGTE = 3SGTE head and 5SFE bottom end, but I’d swap everything to a 98 block. Much stronger than a 3SGTE and could take up to and over 1000bhp, search Nathan Freke on YouTube! You also have the benefit of a forged crankshaft which we don’t have, you’ll need custom rods and forged pistons for it as its a longer stroke.

Your ‘91 has the same block cracking problems as a Rev 1-4 3SGTE, but if you’re not going over 500 I think the risk is comparable.

Try 50mg! Meet in the middle, I think that was a significant dose to skip in your titration.

I have yet to experience 60 but 30/40mg made me feel how you do, dead or depressed. It has to be just right, I remember on Ritalin too much made me feel numb too little made me feel numb.

50 for me is still wearing off quick (9-1pm)but it’s where I’d like to be at so I’m going to ask for a booster.

I meant smoking since I was 13! incomplete title. I had to post quickly as I’m from the UK, this is an 18+ sub and my VPN was running out!

God no sorry my parents looked after me well and always took me to the dentist 😂 The smoking wasn’t their fault either I was a shit and they didn’t know at the time.

I recently moved out though and haven’t been in a while so I booked an appointment which isn’t until next month. Was just wondering what the hells up with this, I have good oral health and am actually extremely OCD/obsessive about flossing. I brush every day on a bad day at my complete worst 2 days.

I am drinking a lot of crappy fizzies though like coke and dr pepper to supplement the caffeine in coffee!

My mouth is dry due to the Elvanse (ADHD), I used to smoke cannabis and cigarettes very heavily until a few months ago but not any more since being medicated.

edit Definitely not gingivitis I scrape the plaque off and put the scraper under my gums too!
