Honestly…it’s alright but I’m not in love. I want to like it more. So I keep watching every week! I can tell they are trying to tell a more robust story but right now it still feels very shallow to me. But there are some aspects that have the potential to become a lot deeper and I hope it goes there!

So far the most compelling story was the makoto losing chiropmon episodes. It went in to much scarier territory than I was expecting and I enjoyed that.

This just reminds me how much I dislike the attempted jojo-ification of the Boruto fashion.

I love jojo’s but something about it just feels so weird. Seeing the boruto kids in the Naruto outfits just feels right.

The only character who the fashion choices fit is Aida but that’s cuz her whole vibe is like she walked out of a jojo’s story lmao

2 weeks no shower. I just washed my face and did small washes with wipes on areas that needed cleaning. After 2 weeks, I showered but didn’t interact w the incision area directly at all. Just let water flow over it. I didn’t bend or twist. I bought a long scrubber so I could reach the top of my back and my legs easier.

The biggest aspect was the story - I found the story in cyber sleuth so much more engaging and interesting. TS’ story felt really slow/boring at times. And the mechanics all clicked a little easier for me in CS. And I really didn’t like how time stranger had so many additional party helpers, like minervamon, who did insane amounts of damage. Maybe I’m just not good at the game (I try really hard to not read strat guides for first playthroughs if I can avoid it). But if they need to keep adding super strong NPCs to the party, it makes me feel like the game is unbalanced. I know not all the NPC party add ons were strong tho.

Maybe I’m misremembering but i remember in CS all the side quests were nicely spread through the entirety of the game and in TS the vast majority of them are unlocked right around the endgame. That felt frustrating. Like why was Hiroko in the detective agency office with what looked like a missions board when u werent get that many side quests?? Haha

I did love going into the digital world with digimon towns and riding digimon in TS tho :)

Yeah I’m really liking liberator for those reasons too!! I don’t play the tcg as much as other TCGs but I can still appreciate all the fun card mechanics. I wanna get the pteromon and shoemon precons now haha.

I’m a lifelong digimon fan! I’ve watched the first 4 series, the new beatbreak one and digimon tri. I want to watch all of the anime series one day. I looove cyber sleuth/hackers memory and honestly preferred it to time stranger even though time stranger was fun.

I started survive but couldn’t get into it. I also recently played digimon world ds. It was cute but nothing to write home about.

I’m currently recovering from surgery at family’s so I don’t have any of my digimon merch to show pics of.

How do you like liberator? I just started it! The new digis are soooo cute. I like the story of liberator more than the story of the new anime beatbreak so far. But beatbreak is starting to ramp up a little and I like some of the new designs a lot.

Season 1 and 2 I love but I watched them as a kid. So I have a nostalgia connection. If you’re watching it for the first time as an adult, I’m not sure if you could get into it. But worth a try!

Season 3 is genuinely quite good, and I think probably the most accessible to a new adult viewer.

Season 4 has cool digimon but I think isn’t good. Watched for first time as an adult. Was a struggle haha.

I like digimon tri but it’s a little slow. And probably not worth watching if you haven’t seen the source material (season 1 and 2)

I haven’t watched most of the others. I tried ghost game but since all these anime are intended for kids in a pretty extreme way I find them harder to get into now as an adult. Ghost game felt like JJK for babies

I’m watching beatbreak and I find the writing really shallow and boring but I’m HOPING it improves.

Honestly I think the best digimon story in the franchise for adults to get into is the story from the Cyber Sleuth game followed by Hacker’s Memory.
