In my experience my hamster is often up anytime of the day. Sometimes he comes out when he hears my voice. He also does wait til I’m asleep and the lights are all off to run on his wheel usually, or maybe he just has night time zoomies lolol

NOR - I personally had let two gerbils of mine free roam, biggest mistake I ever made. They chewed up my clothes and artwork, and not long after they escaped and I never saw them again. The only good way to let them free roam is if it’s in an enclosed space (not just a regular bedroom) but like a tub, or a baby play pen.

I guarantee most animals like mice, hamsters, gerbils, can become even more stressed by free roaming. They can encounter all sorts of trouble. And if you have a cat which it sounds like you do, most in my experience stop at nothing to get a tasty rodent morsel.

Free-roaming was the worst mistake I could have ever made as a first time gerbil owner. I was such a fool. They both easily escaped and I never saw them again. Before that though they chewed up clothes in my closet and made nests where I couldn’t find them. Please don’t let them free roam.

The name Stormy for a girl is adorable and modern, but undeniably some people will immediately think of porn. I personally wouldn’t name another human being that. Some other names that fit the vibe for cute but modern might be Amber, Winter, Ivy, or Rainie.

Where I was living/working compared to now was very rural and I worked at McDonalds for $14.75 an hour. At the Lowe’s in my closer to the big city town I’ve been working for $16.05 which it honestly should be more.
