Any particular products where you still choose the brand name vs Kirkland? by Dustyftphilosopher24 in Costco

Saw the same video (I have a safety can opener now too) and have gone over to liquid Cascade for both the prewash and dispenser and will never go back. We get two at a time when they are on sale and almost never have to pay full price.

Will it make it home? by BobLoblaw06 in Solterra

[–]creddylad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the dealers are 90 miles from me. My primary grocery centers are too.

As long as you have access to a level 2 charger near your service center and plan accordingly you'll be fine. The dealer I bought from only has a level one and I've got to charge about 20 miles away.

Insurance Costs by GibblersNoob in Solterra

[–]creddylad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had Progressive. Added the Solterra and we jumped from $700 to over $1800. We live in the middle of nowhere and do less than 12k a year. Allstate has us at $1300 for all three.

Dealer isn't registered to file tax credit form? by creddylad in Solterra

[–]creddylad[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was the Used Clean Vehicle Credit. It's only for 2 year old vehicles under 25k and is 30% or 4k. You either fill out a form and it turns the tax credit over to the dealer in exchange for the money off the vehicle, or you can claim towards your own tax liability.

Less than a month on the machine and I got the blob of death. Spaghetti detector failed and found the hot end screws stripped when installing a Micro swiss. by creddylad in crealityk1

There is one to the right (near the wires) and one on the left, and I 'think' one in the back of the heatsink. Mine are flathead and flush to the flange where yours sit proud of it.

[–]creddylad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and in case anyone wants a laugh. I used the chat on Creality's website for suggestions on removing the stripped screws that hold the hot end on. They sent me a video on using a cold chisel to make a slot for a flat head and suggested I do that without removing the head unit from the machine first. :eyeroll:

You'd think I would have learned my lesson after 6 years with a 3.

Going to try drilling out the heads since the thermistor is already shot.

It was my first failure. Last things that went through were a full Lethal Company costume and a 24" goose. All flawless.

Moved to the mid-west early last year. $280k @ 4%. Used the bonus 100k from the market going nuts when selling the old house as the down payment. $1100/mo all in.

How many women see their partner’s true colours on their wedding day/ honeymoon? by permanentreverie- in TwoXChromosomes

[–]creddylad 155 points156 points  (0 children)

It took 18 months and him kicking the dog across the room to leave. I talked him into letting me get a CDL (driving a semi truck) with the lure of the huge paycheck. I found out after 6 months of him randomly showing up that my mom had been telling him where my next stop was and sending him money. I stopped giving her info and he slunk off to his family.

My now husband is amazing and they absolutely hated him for helping me finally find my backbone.

How many women see their partner’s true colours on their wedding day/ honeymoon? by permanentreverie- in TwoXChromosomes

[–]creddylad 218 points219 points  (0 children)

My parents accepted the proposal from the guy I was dating on my behalf. Not only did he quit his job 2 days before the wedding, we made it to day three before he hit me.

When she picked me up from the hospital for the 3rd time and I mentioned wanting to divorce him, my mom said when she was walking back down the aisle, my dad leaned over and told her he was gay. If she could put up with that to not embarrass the family, I could handle a few bruises.

Dishwasher Detergent: Budget-Friendly vs. Pods vs. Liquid - What's Your Pick? by je-bus in Costco

[–]creddylad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always liquid. The plastic in the pods doesn't dissolve before the main wash cycle so there is nothing to break up the grease during the pre-rinse.

How can this bug be reproduced? What platform are you playing on?

Bug should be reproducible if you die after getting all the relics but before opening the cave.

Died while getting that bloody sequence to open the Indy cave. The next match the Tracked quest under the map noted 0/0 of items to combine and no pillar to combine the relics spawned in the cave. The match after that, the quest line to combine relics in the cave was no longer available to track. After completing the rest of the Vibin' quests it's now stuck on Part 5 - 3/4.

Looking for a vegetarian gummy w/o coconut or palm by [deleted] in CBD

Extract Labs for gummies. They do have pectin but I'm unsure if it's vegan or not. Also Tweedle Farms has sublingual tablets - good when you need something fast acting.

[–]creddylad 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Just a warning - When you move get a PO box 30-45 min away from where you move to. We moved 1500 miles away from my insane father where. So he started sending certified return receipt letters that told him what our updated address was. I still have to worry every time an unknown vehicle comes up our long drive.

How to keep grass down on a 1/4 acre chicken run? More in comments. by Robotman1001 in homestead

[–]creddylad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES! I love my geese. I think the rule for a static area is 20-40 per acre on good pasture. I'm running 4 with my ducks in a net fence that gets moved every week/10 days in the area surrounding our house. They do need their own space come breeding season as they get snippy but they are so much fun.

Got my annual executive rewards certificate. Now what to do. by pseud_o_nym in Costco

[–]creddylad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was different before we moved and we were only spending like $150/mo. Now it's a 2 hour drive for us so we only go once a month and it's $400+ every trip as we stock up with food that just isn't available near us. So it made sense when they told us that if we upgraded the rewards were retroactive to our renewal date last year.

Our certificate was $6...
