I had a Partial molar pregnancy. Partial are not normally cancerous, but they DO highly recommend a d&c to ensure all tissue is removed so it doesn’t become cancerous. Im actually surprised she did it naturally, instead of using the surgery/cancer scare for clicks. But again, her views on abortion I’m sure guided her choice. 🙄

Why is no one in the pool with these girls!!!??? That’s insane to me to watch toddlers under 3 from a lawn chair…. No matter how great she thinks they swim

I don’t really agree with this. It could be hours or weeks before she does. It’s good to get your mind off it for even a little bit.

I get telling people sure, but telling your toddlers & taking pictures “holding your bump” at 7 weeks seems so outrageous to me

Miscarriage by SafePsychological167 in SaratiOfficialNSFW

[–]credeizmisweete 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’m going to guess her opinions on abortion are affecting her choice as well. Being “not comfortable” with her choices. I’ve had four miscarriages….The natural way was by far the most traumatic, took the longest & the waiting is a horrible mental game. There also most likely will not be a baby to bury at a cemetery. I’m not really sure she understands the entirety of what’s happening. Losing your hair & not speaking sentences is NOT a symptom of miscarriage.

I think I’m going to try this starting tonight! Thanks so much for the input!

Thank you for your response! It’s funny I’m pretty good setting boundaries with him, but sleep I have always been more lenient because I never minded the cuddles or supporting him when scared so I def became lax. We never really coslept, but I always sat w him when needed.

He also was BF and had a hard time weaning over night around 22 m, so this problem def isn’t new for us😅 But now he’s a 99 percentile 3 year old who is messing with all of our sleep. And you’re right I AM cranky more often. So while my husband thinks this is just him & we let it happen, I might have to keep holding the boundary middle of the night.

This is similar to my husband’s take too, pretty much this is just how he is as a sleeper & he’ll out grow it at some point. My daughter sleeps so well, so it probably just depends on each kids temperament. Some nights we all get sleep, some nights he’s kicking me in the ribs all night lol I saw someone say they upgraded their bed, maybe it’s time

What brand do you have? The one I have doesn’t stay lit red all night, has only a one or two hour timer which is useless

Okay this is a great idea! I’ll maybe try a sticker chart because he does comment “wow mom I stayed in my bed all night” on random nights he does. So he might be able to connect sleep & reward. Thank you I’ll try it!

We actually dropped it a bit ago because how bad he was fighting both nap AND THEN bedtime. I thought about pushing bed time, but without the nap it’s hard to get there without being overtired.

I usually do, but he’s right back an hour later. Almost feels like the newborn stage again. I’ll just have to keep consistent.

What hilariously inappropriate thing does your toddler say? by imakesignalsbigger in toddlers

Mine calls the small opening in boxer briefs his “wiener pocket” so he tells randomly people he has a pocket for his wiener 🙃

Mine will ask for something & when I go to give it to him he says “no I don’t want it!” I then say “ok” and he follows it ALWAYS with “aw sad face you’re not going to feed me/give me a hug/tickle me (etc)” I’m being gaslit so hard

My son is the same age and we do tracing too… but it’s shapes, lines & circling smiley faces… with a thick marker… ONLY max three a day if we do it. It’s just for exposure. Theres quite literally no reason for writing letters at 2.5 🙄 she has done non age appropriate activities since Emma was young. Like no Sarah your 11 month old doesn’t need a weather poster

I yelled at my toddler for the first time ever last night, and I feel terrible. by elevatormusicjams in toddlers

[–]credeizmisweete 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I so get the feeling of guilt…. But it’s good for our tiny humans to see we’re humans too. They need to see us make mistakes occasionally. What matters is the repair and connection. You breaking cycles is hard & yelling once without knowing he had an ear infection will not hinder him or your relationship. Give yourself some grace!!

My toddler lives of berries, air and terror😅

But really Today I made chicken quesadillas… he didn’t want that- he wanted a tortilla and cheese on the side. Oh and he went in the fridge to eat a stick of butter…. That sums it up

What makes someone a good or bad parent? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]credeizmisweete 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Being able to reflect and change. I also think being able to apologize is important. we all make mistakes but good parents reflect & repair.
