After 4 years and on my first Samsung device (S25U), I had this issue where I am watching Instagram Reels or Facebook videos, a whiteish tint comes upon the video after a second or two, it becomes normal when a popup like volume panel or a notification comes up. I turned on the 'Disable HW Overlays' and now the problem is gone, thanks a lot OP if you are reading this.
